Even though they all know that George Soros has absolutely nothing to do with Media Matters. They've been shown the proof repeatedly. Soros just makes a good target. So ridiculous.

Not only blame George Soros, but do so from a purely speculative point of view. He might as well have said "By the way, folks, I'm pulling this directly out of thin air, if not less savoury places."

        Yeah, el Fathead,

Soros is ecstatic. He just put in an application to own an NFL team. He just wants to rub your nose in it.

Maybe you can sponsor a golf tournament: The El Fathead Invitational.

So the fat man suggests that Soros is linked to mary-jane reform and that is somehow worse than sucking down fist-fulls of oxycontin and splurging on party-boys in the Dominican Republic?

The extra-chubby one is hopped on some sort of goofballs today folks.

      "and this is all speculative..."

Sums it all up nicely. Paranoia and conspiracy plots against Rush--and conservatives at large--will spew endlessly. Media Matters can kick back with ease; Limbaugh will be providing endless material today, interrupted by the occasional commercial break

Oh, and check this out. Transcript of Limbaugh's "morning update," from which this MediaMatter clip is culled. Anger, paranoia, showboating and ultimately a great deal of rage reign supreme From the Rush Limbaugh website

Limbaugh: "The NFL has a rule that the primary owner has to have 30% equity in the team, and our group lost our 30% equity guy, and we had to scramble and find a new one, and I was told who it was, but now I'm wondering if it was Soros and I wasn't told."

So he was told but he wasn't told, and therefore Soros is to blame. I get the feeling that Limbaugh thinks that Soros is some kind of cartoon villain pulling the strings behind his every defeat.

I guess the take home lesson is that the free market sucks when it doesn't work in your favor, huh Rush?

Gotta love it when a right-wing neanderthal blames someone else for their own issues and problems.

For a guy who, at times, has spoken about how Democrats, liberals, and other various lefties need to take responsibility for themselves and stop being on the government dole...

He sure has an interesting way of practicing what he preaches.

You gotta blame someone... because you certainly can't expect Rush to take responsibility for his actions.

Just because Rush doesn't believe his remarks are racists, doesn't prevent everyone else from believing that they are.

The NFL has proven itself to be a progressive organization. They recognized the need for diversity in the head coaching role and the "Rooney Rule" went into play in 2003.

In 1979 there was only 1 minority coach in the history of the NFL.
By all accounts, this has been a success, but I am sure Rush would be opposed to it.

The great thing about the NFL is that it's a private enterprise that is a huge success! So there is nothing that Rush can say about their policies or "progressiveness" that isn't supported by the reality of where the NFL stands.

        Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a PRIVATE business. The owners decide what is good for business, and what is not good for business. Rush was bad for business.

I think Rush, of all people, would understand this. But no, he doesn't. He accuses them of being liberals and racists because they won't let him in their business.

Rush - there are plenty of other clubs out there that you can join. And that women, black people, and jewish people cannot. Trust me.

It's too bad Rush Limbaugh's obscene ranting and raving has made him a pariah amongst decent people.

But, he has nobody but his own lame-ass self to blame.

How are you doing with that failure and humiliation thing, Rush...?

Rush, I heard the NFL would sell a team to ACORN before they'd sell one to you. Jeremiah Wright could get the Bears before they'd sell you the Rams...with Bill Ayers as Wright's partner and Van Johnson as General Manager. Charles Manson could probably be a limited partner of the Chargers before you. Osama Bin Laden could probably buy the Giants before you.

      Anyway...have a great day, Rush. ;>)
