OMG, that poor woman had to hold her nose to 'watch' Bob Costas, sniffle, sniffle . .
Lady, go clean out your refrigerator and dust your husband's high school football trophies like a good little neocon wife!!
Someone is going to cancel their NFL channel subscription because a group of private business men decided it would be in their best interest to no longer involve a potential investor?
What happened to freedom of choice?
What happened to letting the free market rule?
Good luck with that.
In my many years of watching pro football, I have never heard any of the sports commentators on any sports channel bring up anyones race. They talk about statistics, records, skill, and athleticism,
but never have they brought race into the mix. Why? Because race has nothing to do with it.
Suddenly, Rush gets a shot at commentating and he just can't help himself because it's what he does. It's who he is. When called out on it, he does what every good con does-
he blames the media. He blames liberals. He whines about being taken out of context. Then members of his cult console him as if he were the victim of some unfair crusade. Rush is correct. The rest of the world is wrong.
Say what you want about Olbermann (and I have no doubt that is who the caller was referring to when she talked about "holding her nose" when watching Sunday night Football on NBC) , but he has managed to have a career in sports without bringing up politics, or race, or any other topic that is not pertinent to the sport.
Why is this so hard to understand?
Priceless.
