      I honestly don't understand the right-wing obsession with George Soros. What do they think he's doing that wouldn't be happening otherwise? Or maybe I should just ask, What do they think he's doing? As someone mentioned on another thread, the rightie default position seems to be, When all else fails, blame Soros.

          It's an anti-Semitic thing. They've chilled the rhetoric slightly from "Foreign Jews control the media" to "This one foreign Jew controls the media".

        Soros is a traitor to his class- a billionaire who has the gall to care about things like human rights, fairness in media and the plight of the poor. He ought to be investing in right-wing media and paying off Senators and Congressmen to keep more money in the hands of the very wealthy. Because he doesn't, he's a weird evil man who needs to be demonized at every turn, other traitors- FDR and JFK come to mind.

      Dobbs is clever though. Attacking Politico as a left wing publication or on line enity is brilliant, since in reality Politico leans to the right almost always.
