  I believe that rather than a Fairness Doctrine, there should be a "Truth in Broadcasting" doctrine, calling for $1,000 fines every time a syndicated talk show host says something that can be proven false. Maybe that would finally shut this idiot's piehole once and for all...

    Agreed, Wz -- and, while we're at it, there should be a "Proper English" doctrine:

    verb (used with object)
    1. to use up: She expended energy, time, and care on her work.
    2. to pay out; disburse; spend.
    
    If, as Levin claims, Senior citizens are going to become "targets," whatever will be used as a weapon AGAINST them will be "expended" -- not the Senior citizens themselves . . .
