You know, I think this is in the single digits on the list of things NOT to say after getting rejected to buy an NFL team.

This has nothing to do with Obama or politics. This is about you, Rush. Your haetful words. So much for the Party of personal responsibility.

Just like wingnuts : if they don't get their way its the other people that have a problem.

Also, Rush doesn't seem to get it that the NFL doesn't need a polarizing figure as part of an ownership group.

he should probably get that whole NFL thing behind him now. he was kind of like who ever was on the receiving end of the stiff arm from the guy on who the Heisman trophy was modeled after.

I'm with Rush. As any first grader can tell you, we Americans have the right to free speech BUT EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY, the right to have absolutely no negative consequences when we exercise that right.

It's says so in a little deal called "THE FIRST AMENDMENT," right there in the Declaration of Independence.

You should go back to the first grade. The First amendment does give you the ri9ght to free speech but it does not protect you from the consequences of abusing that right. He needs (and so do you) understand that he is responsible for his words and what he says does have consequences - it's called a "reputation" and if you have any doubt about your free speech rights, go to your job and say the things Limbaugh said...

Okay, I had a retort for this and figured out it was obviously sarcasm. Since a) the there is no guarantee against negative consequences, b) the free speech guaranteed in the First Amendment refers to freedom from GOVERNMENT interference and c) the First Amendment is in the Constitution, not the Declaration of Independence.

Limbaugh: NFL "as politicized as anything else," "Obama people have got their hooks in the NFL now"

Yeah, fat boy -- just like the previous week, when they had their "hooks" in the Nobel Prize Committee.

Who'll it be next week, Limpballs?

Limbaugh , "Can't even get through the vetting process"

Hey there El-Rushbo, The "vetting" process is what got you thrown overboard. The players said NO, the commissioner said NO. Will you ever see the light (I doubt it), you were vetted.

It was decided during the "vetting" process you are a raciest, and the NFL would rather you not be part of the league.

One more observation of the past few days I have. It stems from your raciest comment yesterday that players ought to be paying attention to who's paying them.

I think what you need to understand is that the players are the basically the only part of the team that "produces" revenue. Its those 50 or so guys, who bring the money into a team. So maybe, just maybe, they don't want a raciest to profit off of them.

Please dude. All you managed to show in your little rant is Conservatives will do anything to take George Soros down and politicizing sport is one of many right wig tactics.

The one thing that is hurting the right real bad is that the White Christian Male power structure has been reduced. Conservatism seems to be only about this. Even liberals can be fiscally "responsible". The white Christian male is just like any other person and they are not willing to accept this.

I don't like football. I never watch football. But I do listen to the news at times. And I see and hear that the Football Leagues want to clean up their image. They don't want to be perceived as political they just want to play sports and let people enjoy them.

I remember some time ago that an OWNER of a baseball team had overwhelming racist views which she told everyone ever once in a while. Didn't the baseball league make her step down as the controlling owner and let someone else run the show or they would kick her team out of the league. What makes Limbaugh think he is better than anybody else. Oh I know...he is Rush Limbaugh and he thinks he is in a class all by himself...WELL HE IS AND THINK GOODNESS no one else wants to be there with him.

This man would cause more problems for the football league than the whole sum total of all the owners and players before him.He needs to go some where and shut up and we never hear from him again.

The NFL didn't say no . . . it was the other investors who pushed him out. He's so ridiculous.

But.... but... but the investors were under pressure from the left-wing NFL, which has Obama hooks in it, and... and... Obama is a Muslim born in Kenya who hired Mao Zedong to work for him! Can't you see the massive conspiracy sitting right in front of your face?

I have two things I would like to add to this whole issue:

First, I don't think it's his political views that caused the controversy but more his lack a patriotism. Anyone who has said "I hope he [Obama] fails" and has been against him every step of the way surely lacks patriotism. During a time when we are in two wars, people just don't tolerate lack of patriotism.

Second, I think this whole thing is designed to cause the controversy in the first place. He had no intention on getting involved with the team, he just wanted to try to point out hypocrisy. As we are getting down to the final votes on the Health Care bill, these guys on the right are starting to panic. By having Rush comes off as a victim, it really helps their cause.
