Their guests, and the rest of the media, need to take up this mantra.

More false equivalency. They do it on the right now. They did it on the left when Bush was president.

The difference is the size of the platform. Sure people on internet sites like this made Bush/Nazi comments. And conservative posters and national political and media spokespeople called us commies and traitors.

Now conservative political and media spokespeople and internet posters call this president a socialist, communist, Nazi and Kenyan. They fill hours of programing with conspiracy theory all the while stating that they can't prove it, but we need to investigate these charges. Even though, they have absolutely no evidence.

Oh, yeah, totally two sides of the same coin. Just like how Bush had people arrested for attending his events in t-shirts protesting him, whereas no one seems to mind when psychopaths strut around with their big, shiny p... guns to protest Obama's presence. T-shirts, honestly... have we on the left no shame?

Beck DOES matter. He spreads his Nazi - Mao statements to like minded audiences in the millions who now have a "voice", a justification for their for their own hate. Like so many of these talk radio personalities, Beck draws on his audience of like minded hate mongers to build his ratings. Hitler didn't matter either until he began drawing the masses and spreading fear and divisiveness over the radio.

Joe (and he's trained Mika in this regard) is HUGE on this equivalency thing. He can't defend all the far right idiocy, so arguing that both parties do it equally is the best he can do. He kept himself under control this time (Mika actually led this attack), but often when this pet issue of his gets challenged he flies into a purple faced rage.

Also, it's funny how he used to ridicule repubs who couldn't stand up to Rush Limbaugh. Now he's become one of Rush's foremost defenders. Not only does he now kiss up to Rush ceaselessly, but add to that that he is boosting a competitor, and you have some really really strange stuff emanating from that show lately.

JR, you make an interesting point. Although Rushbo and the Beckenstein Monster is a "competitor," their is boosterism for them on CNN (Dobbsie) and here. Golly, aren't they just peachy keen as they siphon advertising dollars from us.

This pretty much proves the board rooms are in cahoots regarding information control, they are willing to give up money (their god) to keep the country misinformed.

        Quite true Jim Rockford

I don't think it would be much of a stretch that if we were to place all the racist, homophobic, hateful, vitriolic, smears, and out right lies spoken officially by either side (to which I am a proud member of the left side) that the right-wing side would be longer by a factor of a thousand to one?

The right thinks comedians talking about how white people be driving like THIS is equivalent to Klan lynchings, so we'd have to have an impartial scorekeeper.

Interesting response from Brzezinski, considering what she and Joe discussed before on earlier shows. Which is it? Is Beck just a nuisance, or should we get upset about it? I'm confused about your point, dear. Or, do you have a point?

Mika should just SHUT UP sometimes and keep her 'little boy' on a tight leash . .

I'm embarrassed by this woman. Was she hired 'cause she's such a good Mommy and she needs to keep the brat in line?

Be a real small government conservative as you say and call it like it is Joe Joe! I listen to his show ever morning and today he was not understanding that if someone is racist, a bigot, or prejudice then they are what they is. There is plenty of evidence to accuse Limbaugh and Beck for what they are, why not call them out Joe Joe! He is doing a Michael Steele, not in such a way Steele did, but he is appologizing.
