Cool, a high school dropout radio DJ is quoting an almost high school dropout former news stand operator.

How did he miss 'the big picture' when Bush was in office then?

The 'big picture' was based on conspiracy theories, and those conspiracy theorists are "crazy."

Remind me Beck, what Bush administrative official revealed that the President and his cabinet were manipulating terror alerts for political gain again?

wow.. its so entertaining to hear Beck read me a website...

if he wants to read websites, maybe he should go to some of the right wing message boards where they talk about killing Obama, call him "the kenyan usurper" and use the n-word over and over again. Thats his real audience anyway.

So again he's just plainly stating that he has no stomach for actual details. Ignorance is bliss huh? Talk just seeing the forest and not the trees!

      Dim, very dim.

If you can't blind them with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullschidt.

I have to hand it to Beck: he looks at the big picture and connects all the dots together with the skill of a paranoid conspiracy theorist. Bravo.

(By the way, as my handle on this website might suggest, I have something of an interest in things involving Russia and Russian and Soviet history. So my ears perk up whenever Beck cites Russian media sources. This is at least the second time this year that Beck has quoted from Pravda.Ru -- the website, not the newspaper -- and from Stanislav Mishin's column in particular to support his own view.

Stanislav Mishin is, to use a technical term, a jackass. The last time I heard Beck citing Mishin, he was citing a column in which Mishin said:

"Senator Barney Franks [sic], a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort."

This is Beck's idea of a voice of reason from abroad deserving of citation, repetition and amplification in the United States?)

Maybe Fox is flourishing because they are pandering to a base that still tunes in to the 24-hour news channels to acquire their political information believing them to be trustworthy because they somehow missed the time period where Reagan and Clinton privatized the media in its entirety, and these Americans fail to realize that modern news networks care more about profit than checking those bothersome facts?
So, now that I think about it your right, Glenn (God help me for muttering those words). They are telling the people exactly what they WANT to hear and not at all what is true or fair or real.
The flaw in your convoluted argument rests in assuming that the sample of Americans who obtain their information about the state of the union from 24-hour news networks consists of equal partisan representation. Thankfully, we do not live in the 50s where we have only one source of information. The internet is a beautiful thing.

He also interviewed "Chris Wallace" last night.

Uploading edited audio version. Not perfect, but it sounds VERY similar to Chris Wallace.

Decide for yourself. Is the voice from the Anonymous concerned parents on Beck's program last night Chris Wallace?

      Sure sounds like it!!!!!!!!!

Compare the "S" sounds to that of Wallace.

It's Wallace. No doubt in my mind.

Oh c'mon, Glenn, don't sell yourself short! You're good at LOTS of things. Honest!

Constantly quoting people completely out of context? Check.

      Spreading fear and hatred? Check.

Creating and promoting insane conspiracy theories? Check.

Calling a woman on live radio and mocking her recent miscarriage? Check.

Ripping the American health care system one year, and then the next blasting critics of that same system as being un-American? Check.

Don't ever forget, Glenn, you're good enough, you're smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like you!

FOX HAS BEEN CAUGHT IN A LIE AND THEY ARE NOW TRYING TO PURGE THE INTERNET OF EVIDENCE!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!!

Do a google on: "Remick Smothers" st andrews

Pages that worked an hour ago NO LONGER WORK.

On those pages is evidence that Remick Smother's, Chris Wallace's son, graduated from St. Andrews in 2008.

Chris Wallace gave an anonymous interview on Glenn Beck last night saying his son was graduating (and that's why he was there). THIS IS NOT TRUE. So, Chris Wallace hid on Glenn Beck and smeared Anita Dunn.

      Not making this up.

I'm going through my cache to see if I can pull up the deleted pages.

Boy, that Dunn story sure died quickly after the "anonymous" "concerned parent" interview with Chris Wallace last night.

      Audio edited version on youtube.

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCV1KbMAW7w

      It's Chris Wallace.

Chris Wallace never says his son was in the graduating class. His son graduated in 2008. He says his son is off doing bigger things. Which is true.

So why all the hiding? Why could Chris Wallace simply not have come out with his disdain after initially hearing the speech?

      Weird.

Fox News. Full of good, honest journalists.

This is going to be Glenn Beck's "Balloon Boy".

6 posts is getting a bit excessive, don't you think? I think we get the message. I've watched and listened to the silly youtube clip -- the voice sounds nothing remotely like that of Chris Wallace to me. I've listened to other versions of this clip on youtube that have been pitch shifted, and they still don't seem to me to resemble Chris Wallace's voice and speech patterns in the slightest. Even if some technological wizardry irreversibly disguised Wallace's voice, I have a hard time imagining him using the phrase "to the max" in an interview on Fox. Maybe it's Chris Wallace. Maybe it isn't. I have no idea who is or is not speaking in this clip, but unless you've got something relevant to say about this post by MMFA, wouldn't you mind giving it a rest for a little while? Please?
