Don't ever quote David from the Bible?
Don't ever quote Noah from the Bible
Don't ever quote Attilah the Hun?
Don't ever quote Sun Su the Art of War?
Don't ever quote Hitler & his Blitz Technique of War?

The problem is the quotes from Mao by Dunn were in the most flattering language.

She now says she was joking....hmmmmmm

Again with the broad brush, Slick? Her quote was truncated; she specifically referenced that quote in a very narrow context. Read the words Mr. News typed - we learn from good and bad people. And we're better off when we can see shades of gray.

So...exactly when is all the killing supposed to start? And exactly who is going to do the killing? Liberals? I thought liberals are so naive they don't believe in the use of force. Somehow, Savage doesn't make a great deal of sense...

I think there will be an attempt to "get rid" of certain segments of America's population. This will come after the central bankers have finished destroying the middle class.

We will be a third world nation and the useful radicals (probably the fascists/pseudo-communists, but possibly a more (fake) "right-wing" movement) will be left in place to start carrying out extermination upon the financially crippled and helpless population that is no longer of any use to the global-corporate establishment.

Denying the possibility of this future is cowardly. There is only one simple question: who's side are you on?

Liberals have primarily consented to gun control; so, I don't know what we're going to take over the conservatives with. Also, how are we going to stir up legions of conservative military personnel to kill and conquer their fellow bretheren?
I just finished smoking pot and listening to John Lennon. So, I don't know who Obama is recruiting, but if they're anything like me, I think the war is already favoring a win for the NRA...

"...killed 60 million Chinese..." So, shouldn't you have been rooting for him, since he killed all those commies, Mr. Savage? (For anyone out there who cannot tell, yes, I am humorously pointing out the logical outcome of his argument.)

There is no communist revolution going on in this country. There is no messianic adoration of our current president. I say this in all sober earnestness, sir. Those calling for blood come from the conservative side, led by the FauxCons and the FOX Propaganda network.

Your side is the one calling for revolution, who seem so intent on removing a duly elected government from power without the bother of elections. Considering how the last two elections turned out for you, I must say that doesn't surprise me, but your public calls for insurrection certainly do. There are governors giving public voice to the idea of seceding from the union for heaven's sake!

This is the basest, and most transparent ad hominem attack you've indulged in for a while. Just because someone happens to agree with a point or an idea from Mao Zedong's philosophy (and Mother Theresa apparently did), does not make them communist. Just because someone once espoused communist ideals does not make them unfit to serve the White House.

You do realize that Dr. Strangelove was a comedy, right?!

        Well said.
I will also like to point out, Mr. Savage, that...
-between 1775-1783 an estimated 77,300 foreign and domestic soldiers died during the Revolutionary War (yes, the Revolutionary War.)
-at least 618,000 Americans died during the Civil War in preservation of the 'union'.
-1,900,000 worldwide civilians and soldiers, 58,000 of which were Americans, died in the Vietnam War which is historically known as a proxy war against the Soviet Union in an attempt to thwart the "evils" of communism which you so boldly suggested is the sole perpetrator of accumulating death tolls.
-as of October 2009, 4,265 American soldiers have died in Operation Iraqi Freedom not including private contractor fatalities like Blackwater personnel. When including Iraqi civilians and soldiers, the death toll sky-rockets to 155,104.
So, you're right; revolutions have very high tolls in blood.
But lastly, and most important of all, according to The Black Book, the People's Republic of China slaughtered or starved at least 65 million Chinese since 1949. In 2007, 36.2 million Americans lived in "food insecure households", 23.8 million adults and 12.4 million children.
What is the greatest nation on the Earth, again? Look in the reflection, Mike.

Mao was a communist dictator. The last 8 years was like a communist nation somewhat with a dictator in office. Since the last 8 years was ignored, or not even mentioned by the right they now need a projection victim for their mistakes. Why not to OBAMA! An't projection just wonderful!! LOL!

So, again, some days they complain that Obama does nothing - that he has done nothing since being in office. That he couldn't even get the Olympics for Chicago. Then on other days, they say he is going to start a Maoist revolution in this country. Or a Marxist revolution. Which one, exactly? Whichever one makes you more scared - that's what he's going to start.

I never realized Savage was based in San Francisco. I'm going to start keeping an egg in my pocket at all times.

How can any decent person have Mao as the "philosopher they turn to most".. Set aside his atrocities and listen to a few snippets of his communist beliefs.. But it was a joke... doesn't sound very funny to me. Doesn't sound like beliefs I would want my United States of America government officials to have.

Mao " What we have in excess is women, so if you want, we can give you some of those, some tens of thousands. Let them go to your place. They will create disasters. That way you can lessen our burden"

Mao "Communism is not love.Communism is a hammer which we use to crush the enemy"

Mao "Every communist must grasp the truth. Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun"

Wake up America, and start paying attention, and do your research. Maybe we will stop being so afraid to call what is evil "evil"
