Did he just threaten us? I mean, the President doesn't use violence in his imagery, so why does Glenn keep bringing it up, if he doesn't have violence on his mind. If it isn't right to even mention Mao, then why is it okay to keep mentioning killing people or going after them or him? And Glenn, it isn't because you didn't go to college that people should ignore what you have to say. Most people don't go to college, after all, it is because you keep bringing up bat guano crazy conspiracy theories and recommending dead writers who did the same (and he finished college and even taught at colleges, but he was still a whackjob.)

He's sending a message to his listeners. A dangerous one that could get an innocent victim hurt or killed. He's becoming more violent when he speaks. Very disturbing.

Yes it is disturbing, and it is inciteful, but he will disavow their actions if they do hurt someone. He will just claim to be a rodeo clown.

This is very dangerous rhetoric coming from Glenn Beck. How can people not expect the WH to come out against this craziness? It's almost as though Beck is trying to incite a civil war within our country. Declaring that the government will "kill" you if you don't agree is a very good way to unite the wackos that live in this country. The end result of Beck's conspiracy theories will be bloody, just wait and see. And you are correct in saying he will deny that he ever had anything to do with it.

He is doing his very best to incite a civil war. For months he has been saying "Stand up & take back your country..." Making it sound like the teabaggers were doomed to something horrible, if they did not attend the tea parties. He will deny any intent, when something terrible happens, by falling back on those few instances of telling them not to be violent. However he can not hide his ugly rage and he is completely backed and encouraged by Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes. Who should we really fear taking over our country? That is a whole lot of money and crazy, promoting this nut and his propaganda.

Glenn, you pathetic idiot, you are Rupert and Roger's pawn. They are using you for their own agenda. Eventually they will send you down the river or to the loony bin.

I just had an audio bite run through my head, and I'm wondering if anyone else can hear it. There's the rhythmic sound of glass tinking off of glass; beer bottles being clanked together. "Warriors.... come out to pla-a-a-ay," in that same creepy voice.

Yes, but who does the guard protect him from? The point could be made that he is a danger to himself or others with this whole line of craziness. Maybe the guard is there to stop him from hurting some of us.

This is exactly why you will never see Glenn Beck in California. He would immediately be arrested and put under psychiatric evaluation for 72 hours.

I suggest that if you ever hear news of Glenn Beck planning to come to California, that you contact the proper authorities.

Killing spree...? And some people have the audacity to defend FOX News? If Roger Ailes had one shred, one iota, of integrity he would take this nut case off the air.

Roger Ailes deliberately picked this idiot to promote his own propaganda. He knew he could manipulate this pathetic goon, to do and say anything on air. It is Beck's crazy, outrageous lunacy that got him the job. Ailes knew that infuriating behavior would draw viewers. He also knows, Beck will sell his soul to the devil for attention. Integrity is something, everyone lacks at Fox or they would be long gone.

This guy is an idiot. Does he want the US to go back to the times before the 1930s? Times when boom and bust hit us without warning? The Fed helps manage the recessions and bubbles that we go through. If it wasn't for the Fed, our economy would be a joke and the other G20 countries would just pass us by. As for the comment about the G20, the nations that represent the G20 are the nations that represent around 80% of the world's trade. If the nations didn't meet to help manage global finance, the current global recession would look like a good day. We, as a nation, can't ignore the integration of the world economies, even though Beck would like us to do so.

Has anyone ever noticed that Beck's rhetoric always seems most violent on Fridays?

Also, I thought he was going to tell us something this week that "was going to take the administration down"? Whatever happened to that?

Was this supposed to be his shocking news:
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFVuveaxY3U

This guy's a joke. And has become completely irrelevant to anyone who matters.

Beck has been using these big, shocking news promises, as teasers to keep viewers for a long time. They never amount to anything and has gotten very old.
I think he leaves the most outrageous behavior for Friday, so he has all weekend to hear the feedback and come up with a defence. This guy is dangerous but also do to his stupidity, he's pretty transparent.

Notice how Beck menacingly holds a baseball bat. Normally, he would make a reference to a gun. However, given that the conservatives have discovered how Mao felt about "political power growing from the barrel of a gun", Beck is suddenly anti-gun.

I totally saw this coming. Too funny.

I happened to catch this on its first broadcast. I was telling my gf (we don't watch much cable news), you have to see this guy, it's like watching bugs bunny on acid. It's actually the first and only time I've watched one of his shows live.

What he did, on this show, with the bat and the threats that "someone would get whacked", "one of us if we don't do it to one of them," was NOT as some have said a kind of veiled or coded message, but an outright and direct call for one of his crazy acolytes to assassinate the President of the United States. I'm not sure you could come to any other conclusion after watching this.

This man clearly has no respect for the process, the democracy, or the office of the President. As a genuinely patriotic American I hope he's being watched closely by the Secret Service, and I think Fox's broadcasting license should be suspended if these kinds of calls to violence are not curtailed by them at once. I'm a Libertarian and a firm believer in free speech, but I don't believe that violent threats have a place in public discourse, and what liverless liberals don't understand is that this man is not simply a clown, he is absolutely dangerous to the firmament of our democracy; he IS the threat to free speech. What they also don't get is that you have to respond to threats like these in kind.
