From the October 23 edition of CBS Evening News:

Media Matters: The Palin chronicles
The Friday Rush: A series of conflicts
Contrary to media hype, Sarah Palin is very unpopular|

That is the understatement of the century.
Both are motion pictures.
Something is going on behind the scenes that they hope people forget about (and Fox News can go back to to being the GOP channel) once the hand licking of each other is done.
When did MSNBC start broadcasting Keith Olbermann's special comments?
August 30, 2006.
What had happened by this time?
With the aid and cheerleading of the corporate MSM, G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney had lead (and lied) us into two foreign debacles, let the city of New Orleans drown, illegally spied on Americans, made torture official U.S. policy, presided over the biggest real estate bubble ever, more than doubled the national debt, politicized the Justice Department, and lied over and over about every single thing.
Now, President Obama, elected by a huge majority and in office for less than a year, is under assault by the same unhinged freaks who cheered those 8 years of destruction.
It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his job depends on not understanding it. - Upton Sinclair
And that's all you need to know about hacks like Marcus Brauchli, Fred Hiatt, Jeff Greenfield, etc.

Mankind have a great aversion to intellectual labor; but even supposing knowledge to be easily attainable, more people would be content to be ignorant than would take even a little trouble to acquire it.

Explains the Neocons/their followers.
what latest poll or survey has EVER shown fox news to have a "fair chunk" of democrats watching? independents, sure... i just saw a recent pew poll that shows a high percentage of them watching fox, as well as cnn, but democrats? please. they wouldnt be caught dead watching that crap drooling over all the tea parties and far-right fringe tactics.
by the way, can anyone explain the rest of the media's decision to defend fox news? why are they going out of their way to take the side of a "news" organization that clearly lies about the president and cheerleads for the republican party? i have to deal with it every morning on morning joe when scarborough is shilling for them. i hope thats not his way of considering to go over to fox... hes too fair minded to side with those people.
I'll explain until I'm blue in the face:
The MSM, from Murdoch to GE to the WaPo, is all about the big corporate bucks.
The notion that there's a big fight between Fox and the Washington Post is just pro-wrestling style theater.
FOX: 1) for perpetual wars and occupation. 2) for health insurance cartel profits. 3) against the government doing anything to help most American citizens.
Washington Post: 1) for perpetual wars and occupation. 2) for health insurance cartel profits. 3) against the government doing anything to help most American citizens.
Any questions?

They are, in essence, the Timothy McVeigh Network.
All anti-government, all the time.
Except when there's a Republican in the White House.
If Greenfield would pull his head out of his ass, this would be readily apparent to him.
MSNBC's admitted liberal bias is not accompanied with promotion of MSNBC orchestrated pro-government promotional events like the Tea Parties.
Wake up, Mr. Greenfield.

Burnett call Bush monkey
Chrissy fantasizing about a pellet gun to head of Rush
Shultz and Republican dead corpse
Olby calls Pres. Bush fascist
Keep your heads in the sand you collective ranch of ostrich! Just do what your masters tell you to do and think.
We're not saying that FOX is the only one that is partisan. It is, however, the only one who's raison d'être is to spread partisan propaganda.
GMAFB
Hey, genius. It's not a pellet gun. It's a CO2 pellet, as in a cartridge full of CO2, as in Rush is such a gas bag, any more and he'll explode.
I've looked at your other examples, and must say what a shabby lot. Read closer and it's JOE who calls Bush a monkey, not Burnett who mere said the word monkey. Joe is the one who made the connection. Need I say more? And what Shultz said is TRUE. The GOP is content to see the insurance industry make $$ off your death. And Keith's special comment in which he calls Bush a fascist, how about a little context. He was talking about the FISA telecom bill, a bill to justify SPYING ON AMERICANS, which is what a fascist would do. If the shoe fits, DUCK, Mr. Bush.

the media is defending THE KLAN NETWORK,remember when Hannity
keep on with the Rev.Wright thing and he keep on say the
Main stream media is not speaking and writing about it.The
media played the very same sound bites the Fox had used.I kept
waiting for the media to atleast play the whole thing, they never
did. The media loves to keep this stuff going. This is not new.
The sheer volume of their nonsense requires continuous fact checking 24/7.
