Hannity attacks GOP over NY-23: "Are they out of touch with the mainstream conservative base?"

From the October 27 edition of Fox News' Hannity:

Will there even be a Republican Caucus after 2010? McGrumpy ripped his party into two when he chose Sarah Palin as a running mate. They have no claim to the middle anymore and the Right won't let them take it back.
Ah, life is rough in the margin.
She's tough on terror and, well,...sure, Hannity is a dingbat, but...
They make a nice couple.
A fringe candidacy, at best. No more than 25% of the vote. I'd love to see it happen. (I'm not sure there is a Republican out there that can survive this rift, anyway. If the party leaders are smart, they will stay out of the way in 2012 - toss out a sacrificial lamb. They just don't have any way to mute the teabaggers and the Right fringe - and that will cost them the middle. the worst thing that can happen to them is a third party candidate that sucks away their vote - and that is not out of the question if they run a centrist. Let the fringe have their election and lose.)
Book it, Libs!

Can someone post those numbers?
Thank you.

"The parties were also evenly matched on basic party identification in 2001 (which does not take into account the partisan leanings of independents), with 32% identifying themselves as Republicans, 33% as Democrats, and 34% as independents. The 2009 data show the GOP losing five points since then, with identification increasing three points among both Democrats and independents." - Gallup
The statistics show Dems 36% and Rep 27%

Hannity is right that Republican support climbed to 40% but lied about Democrat support which is at 51%
The above statistics are favorability ratings not party affiliation.
Here's the latest link by Gallup showing party affiliation which has Dems at 45% and Reps at 40%, but this includes independents who say they lean Dem. or Rep. Those that strictly identify with their party still holds steady at around 35% Dems and 27% Reps. as shown by the second link below.

I do it myself. I skim the story, form a quick opinion, and then look to the comments sections to see what others are saying.
I don't have the moral authority to say if it's right or wrong - it's just how it is. At the end of the day, it doesn't really have an impact on me personally if Obama is in the WH, or if Palin is there. My life will go on, just like it always has gone on.
Peace.
I find myself trying to be more reasonable. And even more polite. It's weird.
Anyway. Seems like there is a common closing to all tea bagger comments: "WAKE UP AMERICA!".
To them I say "GROW UP, AMERICA".
Sheesh.
