Uhhh, Sean...exactly how are you defining the word "radicals"? Is that like when you guys called anyone who wasn't a hard line, flag waiving, Bible thumping, right winger a "liberal"?

How is that quote from Judge Chen in any way saying that he "is no fan of the song America the beautiful"(Hannity)?

It's obvious that Judge Chen is saying the song carries a great message and should be enjoyed by everyone, but reality is a large number of Americans are still treated unfairly and more emphasis needs to be put on extolling the virtues of that song's message.

radical?? You've got to be kidding. Quit grabbing at straws and tell us something worthwhile.

this is controversial? he is an asian american, so he's not one of the real "folks" (republican translation:folks=white) that o'reilly and hannity represent. in his statement he says america the beautiful is beautiful. the nazi's and hitler loved their country, and when their troops went to war, they supported them. that's what being non critical of one's country gets you. america is a lot of different things to a lot of different people. when speaking of america, you could be speaking of this president and his administration, which hannity hates. hannity hates america!!

Radical = anything not right wing/conservative.

They use this term so often that they've stopped saying why someone is 'radical'. Its become such a bad word for them that they think just saying it will scare people.

When I was an angry young man in the late 60's, I was in the streets of Chicago protesting another illegal war. Being called a radical then was a badge of honor. Once I called the high school principal and said I wasn't going to be in school, that we were going to protest the war. He approved. How we have fallen from the ideals of youth and what this country was founded upon. Where do the Hannity's earn their right to even speak in such false authority?

Lawyers and judges are taught to be rational detached parties. I think both of the quotes that Hannity put up shows that Chen is a rational person who was observing something from a neutral standpoint. Chen doesn't let emotions cloud his judgment and doesn't ignore facts when they contradict his views. It's no wonder Hannity doesn't like him. Hannity thinks that anyone who expresses a rational concern about anything is a radical.

I wonder if there are any clips of Hannity showing racial intolerance toward Middle Eastern people in the wake of 9/11?

I love this. Hannity cites an EDITORIAL from a religious newspaper whose founder has claimed to be the Second Coming of Christ...

Now if CNN had cited this as a source, Glenn Beck would have creamed himself while reporting the following (in the form of an incoherent chalk diagram):

      - CNN sources to The Washington Times
      - TWT is subsidized by the Unification Church
      - The Unification Church was founded by Sun Myung Moon
      - Moon has suggested that the Holocaust was restitution paid by the Jews for their role in murdering Jesus

      Therefore,

      - CNN is antisemitic AND anti-Jesus

(all information confirmed on Wikipedia -- the world's most unimpeachable news source)

Holy moly batman, thinking about how 9/11 may effect religious tolerance in this country. Treasonous I say !

I'm telling you, a much more patriotic reaction toward 9/11, is "Hey Dick, is this the excuse you have been looking for to invade Iraq?"

And the funny part is, that question wasn't directed at Cheney...

And if he doesn't like America the Beautiful, that's his business. How is that going to affect me? How is that going to affect his role in any official capacity? What's really being spun here?
