I don't buy that Mark Levin actually exists. I'm beginning to think it's really Jon Lovitz, having some fun with me. Listen carefully to the voice.

I was talking to the cigarette!

Poor Levin, God gave him a 14-year old girl's voice! He tries to overcome that handicap with his macho talk.

Levin(e) is just like all of the other fake tough guys on radio these days. If he were actually ever confronted, he'd stop, drop, and roll into the fetal position.

How is President Obama coming after anyone?
He spoke his opinion about Fox News and Fox feels like they are being censored?

Show me some evidence that the President or the White House has done anything to stifle the conservative talk in this country.

They've certainly commented on it, which I guess is news, because the White House never did so before... but they have to now, because Fox actually has some ability to control the news cycle and shape public opinion.

Uh huh. We're still waiting. We've been told repeatedly that Obama is going to reinstate the fairness doctrine. How long do you think they'll wait? When is this crackdown coming? How long before they start throwing dissenters in the uranium mines? How long before the FEMA camps are operational? We're still waiting...

Obviously, with a name like his, Cheney2012 is none too concerned for the rights of scary A-rabs held in prison without trial and tortured for seven years. But as soon as someone comes to power who he does not see as one "of one us" he wets his bed at the thought of potential human rights abuses. Rights are for him and people like him, not for the "other". Isn't that a defining attitude of a fascist?

Your use of the word "yet" indicates that there has been a movement to "come after" hate talk radio. There hasn't nor has anyone "come after" Fox. The Obama administration simply stated truth. Fox isn't a news network. It is an opinion network. Their own spokesperson confirmed that all of the night-time programming was opinion. But then, he also said that Fox viewers were smart enough to tell the difference between opinion and news. From the furor I've seen, apparently, he was incorrect.

Mark Levin predicts "a huge uprising" when the Obama administration "start coming after" talk radio
So, Levin is predicting something that will never happen after something that is never going to happen doesn't ever happen?

This is a perfect description of why "the slippery slope" is a logical fallacy.

Now when Obama doesn't "go after" talk radio it'll be because he was afraid to confront the "huge uprising" and not because he was never going to go after talk radio to begin with.

They mean "Hate Radio". And wouldn't they love the ratings boost if it were even close to true. They all want to play the super patriot martyr ala Davy Crockett at the Alamo as Rodger Ailes implied in a quote about FOX being the Alamo. These radio shock jocks are such a bunch of paranoid whiny babies when someone finally calls them on their BS. They're so unused to be confronted after eight years of unabridged propaganda slinging that they don't know how to react other than panic.

Well, as a Texan, I can tell you that if Fox is comparing itself to the Alamo, they aren't too bright . . . the Texans LOST BIG time at the Alamo and at Goliad. Also, the overwhelming majority of the folks at the Alamo were paid mercenaries [Davy Crockett, for instance]. They really didn't care what side they were on as long as they got paid. So, that would mean that Fox is comparing themselves to a bunch of mercenaries who got their backsides handed to them or who surrendered and THEN got their backsides handed to them.

Now, "Remember the Alamo, Remember Goliad" did become a battle cry for the Texans, but as far as the Battle of the Alamo . . . they lost.

It's interesting, too, because most people here don't really give a flip about these folks. At our local bookstores, the "conservative" books don't sell. They ALWAYS end up on the $5.95 bargain book stacks. It's because most true conservatives understand that these folks aren't really conservative.

Don't flatter yourself Mr. Levin(e). Nobody from the Obama administration is coming after you. You're not worth the time, nor the effort. You're a back bencher anyway.

Does anyone wonder if he's saying these things because he's NOT being called out? Trying to get more attention?

Back bencher is a common term and used quite often. It's not a Levin term at all.

President Obama already owned Clownbaugh earlier in the year. I am interested to know what you think "going after" hate radio would be like.

Criticizing a conservative is akin to a crime in Hannity's America. Bunch of tough guys hate it when people call them on the constant stream of BS emanating from the speakers and TV.

As for the climate bill, well, pray to James Inhofe. That'll help ya.

Its funny to hear the rich and priveledged talk about a revolution. Amazingly though, some people who are not as financially blessed as them listen to and try to relate to them. But of course none of these talkers are inciting anything with all this talk of uprisings, and the governmet trying to take people's freedom. Nooooo of course not. They're just stating the "what ifs" to keep everyone prepared.
