        I'm sure China (you know, Mao) bans their flag from desecration. Thank god I live in the free U.S., where flag desecration is a form of FREE SPEECH.

        You know, "free speech"? It's that thing Fox hides behind all the time?

        And why to conservatives think liberals are against the freedoms of this country????????

        It's sad when a symbol becomes more important than the values it represents. It really doesn't matter what our symbol is for the country. What matters is the values we instill in future generations. Values like hard work, honesty, integrity, camaraderie, debate, compromise, freedom, etc. It's too bad that so many of these people, like Ingraham, are more focused on the flag itself and not what it represents. Especially when most of the flags people buy are factory produced and made out of nylon.

      I love the idea that teabaggers think that by changing the blue field of the flag they believe they modified it which, in their small minds, means they aren't defacing it! See, if you turn a flag into a shirt, adding buttons "modifies" the flag which makes the flag no longer the flag! Turning the flag into a square hanky that you blow your buggers into is a "modification" of the flag, since it is no longer to scale it's not a flag! And flag toilet paper? Not a problem, you really aren't wiping your reichwing poop laden bum on the flag anymore because it's not to scale, no, you are showing your patriotism by proving that you sh!t red, white and blue!

      Laura has a problem.

      Every child, at one time or another, has their Mother say to them,"Now don't be a smart-alec"

      Laura apparently never heard this.

      That's why she talks in that sing-songy, smart-alecky manner.
