They just do not get it.

Ask 100 Americans who Kevin Jennings is. See how many people know who he is or give a rat's a** who he is.

We want health care. We want to end wars that can't be won

We aren't interested in with hunts.

I think Doctor (?) Dobson is way too old. He does not understand our the 'family' has changed over the generations. He believes that family is man, woman and 2 and 1/2 children.

For 25 years, Dobson? That would be... 1984. How appropriate.

You know what the upshot of this rant is? I'll sum it up quickly. Dr. Dobson is suddenly afraid that the schools can no longer be trusted to raise our kids. That's why they talk about 'indoctrination tools', etc. They're afraid that somehow schools will be able to turn straight kids gay, or that gay kids will receive preferential treatment.

Dr. Dobson, first off, I was in high school in 1984, and I well remember how badly anyone who was homosexual was treated. There is enough bullying and social ostracizing that goes on in school without saying that some specific group, such as homosexuals, are somehow less than people. That's exactly how the Nazis treated the Jews and, yes, the homosexuals, too.

Kevin Jennings is no danger to public education. He poses no threat. What FOX Propaganda has done is created an atmosphere where, if you are not white conservative and Christian, you just don't count. Worse, if you are in a position of any authority, you are an ongoing and tangible danger to this country. How? Never specified.

I am a Christian myself, and this little audio clip of yours is just one more reason why I don't allow other people to tell me what the Bible says, no matter how big an audience they wield.

You live in America, sir. The land of freedom? Homosexuals should be free to live as they please, subject to the same laws of consent that govern heterosexuals. That same-sex couples should be allowed the same freedom to adopt. Has it not occurred to you that freedom means government must allow it's citizens to make moral choices based on their own personal beliefs? That the only legitimate time government can intrude on those choices is when it affects society as a whole? That you are, in fact, advocating fascism, where we're all free to do exactly what the Bible says?

Would you like to talk about agendas and the Bible? Very well. First, sell all you own, and give it to the poor. Then come see me and I will talk with you about the Bible.

What really kills me about this bit from Dobson is that it sounds like he's trying to turn America into a theocracy, with the Bible in place of the Constitution. What he fails at is not religion or politics, but history. He doesn't remember, or doesn't realize that when 'God-appointed' royalty ran the countries of Europe, with the Roman Catholic Church looking after all things religious, there were Inquisitions to determine who was and was not a heretic. According to the rules of the day, Mr. Dobson himself is a heretic because he is Protestant! He follows the teachings of the antichrist Martin Luther. In other words, he could be denounced to the very powers he seeks to enthrone. So blinded by the light he cannot see the Pit he is about to fall into.

What Fox is trying to do is force is pro Christian, pro Bible thumping into our lives and schools. To them there is no tolerance for homosexuals. All Jennings is trying to do is have that door open if a student has questions about being gay/straight and have someone that they can go to. People like Beck and Hannity are content having homosexuals being beat up and killed by their classmates. This is the America that they want to build for you.

If that's Dobson's worst nightmare, he obviously hasn't gone to bed late after a long evening of menudo and mescal shots out of a senorita's stiletto heels.

Which, by the way, I find hard to believe.

Dobson and his ilk are the biggest nightmare for Christianity. Dobson has made more money pretending to be a good Christian minister [he's not a minister] than he did as a child psychologist.

Personally, after having read many of Dobson's anti-homosexual rants, I truly believe that Dobson worries that he might be a lot like Ted Haggerd.

      The secular media?
So Faux Gnues is not secular, its GODS News. All part of the televangelical world. Even if the hair colors are more like those found in nature.
      Good to know.

Dobson can practice his kind of religion because The USA,and the press is secular. The most disturbing part of fox's game is their effort to insert, and use religion to control parts of government. This is a desecration of the foundation of America.Do Christians for dollars like Dobson believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ.Jesus said give to Caesar what is Caesar's,and pay your taxes, something not done by churches today.

Why is it that the people ranting about Kevin Jennings are middle aged white men that are clearly afraid of any difference? I mean, come on Mr. Dobson, people are people and there have always been gays even in YOUR CHRUCH! There is a reason that there is a separation of church and state. Keep your backward beliefs away from my kid! I have a 13 yo and I certainly hope that by the time all these homophobic white guys die and my son is an adult that they will turn around and wonder "why were people persecuted for being gay?" I am certainly hoping that this bigotry dies with that generation.

How do these American Taliban guys live with their hatred? Even in this new legislation adding gays to the list of people protected from hate crimes, the "religious" right still pushed to allow ministers to be exempt, and thus continue their hate-preaching unabated.

Yes, Dr. Dobson, but, but . .

Did we all miss your comments calling for the resignation of ADULTERER Senator Ensign, the UNITED STATES SENATOR FROM NEVADA, and $92,000 payoff and new job for his mistress's husband . .

Although Ensign did pray about his adultery with other GOP senators who drove him to the fed express office to mail his mistress the letter advising her they were 'no longer together' . .

And what is the position of your Ministry on this adultery and 'felonious [job] payoff' Dr. Dobson?

But Ensign didn't have a homosexual relationship.

So it's ok in Dobson's book. I guess that book would be his bible.
