Beck and Monckton agree: "[W]e're in a cooling period"; scientists disagree

From the October 30 edition of Fox News' Glenn Beck:

BECK: "I'm hearing now scientists say that the cooling that is happening only proves how warm it's getting."
...and Monckton faithfully knocks it down...
MONCKTON: "That's right and that makes no sense does it?"
Now I don't know how stupid this Monckton guy really is, but doesn't it show his utter disdain for intellectual honesty to just cynically pretend that there are really any genuine scientists arguing what Beck claims they are? Seriously?
Here's a link to a great article written by Kyle Swanson (link below). He's the one who's data is being mis-interpreted by deniers as "the earth is cooling down".
In his own words, the says: "it’s important to note that we are not talking about global cooling, just a pause in warming."
Of course, you'll see the usual "cherry-picked" data posted by the deniers. And they'll claim it's all a vast conspiracy (that's the only way their "theories" can even work). We've seen them before. I can name them, but you'll know who they are soon.
The nice thing about real science is, apparent inconsistencies in the data are not "hidden". Otherwise, Swanson's work would have been "hidden". Instead, it's out in the open for all to see. The fact is, real scientists don't see this as changing the facts regarding AGW - even Swanson.
Swanson's article:

A great site that summarizes the deniers claims, and counters with the evidence:

It's called Winter (currently Fall or Autumn, technically)
Really! Global climate model projections of future climate most often have used estimates of greenhouse gas emissions from the IPCC models that are also used to help investigate the causes of recent climate change by comparing the observed changes to those that the models project from various natural and human-derived causes. Although these models do not unambiguously attribute the warming that occurred from approximately 1910 to 1945 to either natural variation or human effects, they do indicate that the warming since 1970 is dominated by man-made greenhouse gas emissions.
And besides, the earth is getting some real cooling. Germany had the lowest October temperatures ever recorded for the month, so did Chicago and Denver.
The earth has been warming since the 1700s, as we came out of a cold period called the Little Ice Age. This warming has not been because of man but from natural forces.
For the past decade there has been no overall warming. Since 2002 there has been a general cooling trend, which is contrary to the man made global warming theory. Why temperatures would cool when CO2 is increasing can easily make one skeptical of the AGW theory.
According to the UAH, temperatures in June were only .001C above the mean of the last 30 years, and they were colder than the temperatures found in 1979. Last temperatures are .4C above the mean. It is hard to think that a .4C temperature change above the mean of the last 30 years is anything to panic about.
The trend is for cooling temperatures. The oceans are cooling slightly, Polar ice is increasing in both the Arctic and Antarctic, global hurricane intensity is today at a 50 year low. There are several times more polar bears today than the 1950s. Sea levels have not risen for several years.
All this doomsday fear is just that, doomsday fear. The IPCC predictions are not coming true, natural forces are the great driver of climate, not mad, since CO2 is going up yet temperatures, polar ice, and hurricanes are not following the model.
