      Fat drug-addicted Chickenhawk jumps shark.

Rush, your talent is lying to people who want to believe those lies. This makes the tycoon class richer, and the country poorer. And that is the only reason you have a job.

I think Bush 41 is the brain behind all this thru Roger Ailes, his long time fall guy. Bush 41 was a CIA chief and may very well think he still is. Always be suspicious of men with canes, for the cane may be a 30-06

Yes, Politico is clearly showing their bias. They obviously searched their photo archives for hours, deliberating trying to find the only shot of Limbaugh that shows him as bloated and scowling."

FOX and limbaugh's ratings have both gone up significantly since obama was inaugurated.

Yea, if limbaugh is paul revere and beck is sam adams, who exactly is Obama one might ask??

I fondly remember Rush Limbaugh's ill-fated, Roger Ailles produced tv show when he predicted Clinton as a one-termer and even had a countdown clock ticking to the end of the first four years.

How's that magic eight ball working for you Rush?

I wonder if RUSH has noticed that in 4 of the last 5 elections the DEMOCRATIC presidential candidate has gotten more POPULAR votes than the REPUBLICAN presidential candidates.I'm including 2000 because GORE got a half a million popular votes than BUSH even though the SUPREME COURT by a 5-4 vote appointed BUSH president.

Well, I guess Rush said he wanted Obama to fail. It was some other Fox reprobate (s) (Beck, et al) that want to bring him down. It's still not much of a distinction, in any case.

I thought OK, lets give the guy a chance. WRONG the only hope I have is that the country can survive, the only change is what's in my pocket....

Why on earth does that post get three thumbs-down votes? The two objects aren't even on the same scale. The hand that is strangely coming out of the top of his robe (making Limbaugh a three-armed Klan member) is bigger than the one coming out of his sleeve.

Does anyone really think they're losing political points if some photoshop effort of Rush is pointed out as flawed, or what?

You know I wonder what sort of mind you really have. How could you put such despicable words into the mouth of someone you DO NOT KNOW.

What exactly do you salivate for, another 9/11 attack...

MOST of you would be able to sit with me and probably find you actually like me. I'm really not so different from you.

The problem here is that I really am an old man from Black Forest Colorado. I don't relish the idea of wasting time with name calling and other childish BS...

If I'm not mistaken the subject of this post is whether NObama is a one term president or not. The first entry starts by name calling "racist". So now anyone that thinks NObama might be a one term president is a racist? how?

In one of these posts I asked about Wright being a racist and never did get an answer. I'll tell you that I DO NOT BELIEVE WRIGHT IS A RACIST. I do think he's said some provocative things, I don't agree with everything he has said or done. BUT that doesn't make him a racist.

When limbaugh called justice Sotomayor I disagreed with him... After all they are both the same race, thus she couldn't "hate" him because of the "race"??

When I heard limbaugh interview justice Thomas, he was very respectful and humble. Hmmm difference between Obama and Thomas? IDEAS, IDEOLOGY oh yeah and Thomas is 100% black with slavery in his background.

Calling limbaugh a racist because he thinks Obama is a one term president makes no sense and is not relevant to the discussion.

Actually why do ANY of you care if limbaugh thinks NObama is a one term president?

If all your interested in is patting each other on the back about your witty name calling and intolerant attacks and never hearing other opinions fine I'll troll some place else. (soze169880 must work as a agitator for MM).

I'm going to tell you all a little about myself. If you don't wanna read it go to the next post and shut up...

            1. I am an old man, at least my kids think so. (56)
            2. I have very long hair and a full beard.
            3. I'm not conservative, libertarian in more descriptive. "conservatives" like "liberals" want way too much government, just different parts of government. Liberals want to run my health care and take my money, conservatives want to throw me in jail for smoking pot.
            4. I detest war certainly more than soze169880, having been there and seeing it up close, in person.
            5. I'm not a Christian pagan is what most intolerant wannabe Christians call me.
            6. I'm loosing my sight to MD. (that's why I have so much trouble reading the screen and finding typos.
            7. We (my wife and I) have a horse ranch in Black Forest Colorado. I'm a Sr. Systems Engineer by training (retired).
            8. I've read "the audacity of hope" AND "dreams of my father" I find NObama has a good grasp of many, maybe even most of the problems. I DO NOT AGREE WITH HIS SOLUTIONS (mostly)
            9. I'm a white guy, my wife agrees with you I'm a racist. She should know she's black...

MY objection to most of the posts on this site is the complete
disregard for factual matter and the assumption that everyone that disagrees should be called names and treated with complete INTOLERANCE.

You can take this for what it's worth. If your goal is to help educate and change minds the name calling and lack of critical thinking needs to at least be toned down. If all you want to do is ridicule and berate anyone that disagrees with you.. well this is the place for you...

soze169880 may you find peace in your life.

It may be that you're willfully blind to the possibility. Do you think someone that tells a black caller to "take the bone out of your nose" isn't a racist? John Paradox brought that example up some time ago, and I don't see you addressing it as of yet.

The point is that someone who is racist doesn't have to be foaming at the mouth every time they see someone of another race, so saying that he was respectful to Thomas proves absolutely nothing. This is a matter of principle, which would hold true whether Limbaugh specifically could be determined to have a bigoted attitude or not.

Can I just say that 56 is not old. I disagree with your description of Thomas vs. Obama. Not even pointing out the 100 percent black comment - which i don't know how to interpret - I think both men are respectful. Humble, probably not, but classy, Obama most certainly is. Thomas held up his own during Anita Hill thing, which as a feminist was a disappointment to me. Not because of what you'd think. Because her case/situation was kind of weak and pathetic and really undermined really serious sexual harassment cases for a long time. IMHO of course.

Why do you pretend to be an old man? Is that an excuse to cop out on life? To sit around and feel sorry for your old self? Fifty six, is far from old. My grandpa was 69 when my mother was born and lived to be 101. My aunt just died at 104, another one is 100 & one is 98, you are a young man.

I'm in favor of Obama so far and hope he brings the change America and the world sorely needs.

I'm not one to call anybody racist but I do think many of Limbaugh's comments have been racist by nature. He really needs to use a PC editor. Limbaugh's hate rhetoric leaves me with a sour feeling in the pit of my stomach. I can barely stand listening to him although I try to be open-minded.

                oldman,

you don't seem so bad and I totally agree that name-calling should be left out of posts. They gotcha with the "NObama" comment.

                jjamele,

grow up. your comments don't seem far off from hate speech. There is no need to retaliate out of spite.

I call for a little civility in our debate.

We've heard it from House Republican Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, Reps. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Lynn Westmoreland, R-Ga., as well as conservative talk show host Sean Hannity, to name a few. They all called it a "promise."

They are referring to a Jan. 9, 2009, report called "The Job Impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan" from Christina Romer, chairwoman of the president's Council of Economic Advisers, and Jared Bernstein, the vice president's top economic adviser.

Their report projected that the stimulus plan proposed by Obama would create between three and four million jobs by the end of 2010. The report also includes a graphic predicting unemployment rates with and without the stimulus. Without the stimulus (the baseline), unemployment was projected to hit about 8.5 percent in 2009 and then continue rising to a peak of about 9 percent in 2010. With the stimulus, they predicted the unemployment rate would peak at just under 8 percent in 2009.

Funny how Obama's "projection" gets such scrutiny from the right, but Bush and Cheney's "projections" about Iraq, all of which were GROSSLY WRONG, get a free pass. And the big difference is that Obama's awry "projection" didn't cost anyone their lives.

point is there's NO way the president could have accurately projected the unemployment numbers.

Yes, actually they can predict pretty well when they have good numbers to base their estimates on!

And this estimate was based upon preliminary data from the 4th quarter of 2008, which was all they had in early January when they crafted this estimate.

Later on in the month, they got real numbers from that terrible 4th quarter, and given those much worse numbers, unemployment was going to be higher. So, when they passed the Stimulus bill, it wasn't going to be able to keep unemployment as low as it was before.

That's NOT a lie. A lie is a falsehood that you know is false.

So, Rush, bringing up this estimate? That's a lie, because he knows it was based upon prelim data that wasn't as deadly as the eventual accurate data was found to be.

Obama's pre-inauguration staff's estimate? Not a lie, since it was based upon the best evidence they had at the time.

Facts have a liberal bias, to your detriment. Too bad, so sad.

God what a scumbag. He is always fantasizing that he is some general in some war. After getting out of going to Vietnam by claiming he had an anal boil that rendered him unfit for service he's now had a life mission of pretending to be a war general while talking on the radio to his make believe squad. Umm, yes, it can actually make him both a liar and a racist. Just because someone has opinions, and they are entitled to them, doesn't not make them a liar and or a racist. Limbaugh is clearly both, as has been evidenced many different times on this site alone, and throughout the rest of the country intent on finding out the truth about Mr. Limbaugh.

For the few of you that are civil and at least tolerant enough to respond with other than name calling and poison.

I did take something away from this.

      1. Clearly the halfrica-american and "magic negro" was uncalled for and could certainly be derogatory, and I have to admit racist. I did here those things when he said them, UNFORTUNATELY I laughed ate them which probably says something about my sensitivity.

the other thing I found interesting was the description of "institutional racism" that to makes good sense.

If I wasted anyones time, I apologize... I on the otherhand feel I've learned a few things.. I don't know that I'd go so far as to say I'll never listen to rush again, BUT I will certainly make it a point to be more aware of his comments and how they might impact some.

I don't like to think of myself as a racist, but OBJECTIVELY I probably am. I DO however strive to improve, thuse the questions and comments here.

I do love it so when men like Rush Limbaugh compare himself, or is compared to one of our Founding Fathers, such as Paul Revere. I think it really funny (funny strange, NOT funny ha-ha) that they do this, considering that if these men were alive today, they would probably be harangued daily by Limbaugh and his ilk. And if Limbaugh and his other buddies were alive back then, I'm pretty darn sure that Revere, Sam Adams, and more than a few other Patriots, would tar, feather, and run them out of town on a rail. Also, I'm pretty sure that, if Limbaugh et all, had been alive during the Revolution, they would have been tories, just based on their "ideas", and or current opinions.
