You realize we had an election, right? That polling indicates the majority of Americans still support the President, think he's doing a good job, are in favor of a public option for health insurance? That the choir you're preaching to is a vanishingly small percentage of folks grown so radical that they are likely to think violence is a persuasive argument? Because, you've warned them before not to do anything violent, haven't you? Yet still you stir the pot. You sow the wind, Mr. Beck.
also happens to be tone-deaf.
And we all know what Beck is talking about.. political violence. He is basically saying "its getting close to the time where we need to take our guns and start the revolution against the black President and his black advisors and take back "our" country." Thats what hes saying.
Is this a subtle threat from a lunatic?
He's Twittering for failure and radioing for violence.
Is this a subtle threat from a lunatic?
Nope, just a conservtaive. When you do want to ever do anything, fix anything or accomplish anything, it's pretty easy to run out of options.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Especially after you've been voted out of power.
The gun will be in some poor slob of a Beck fan's hand and Beck will be lamenting that he warned us, but in no way am I responsible for setting the fuse.
They may think that is the ONLY option left.
(BTW, I am old enough to recall McCarthy's implosion)
If they make Beck a martyr, it only helps their cause.
Really, what is the last option?
Like this:
You mean like this shirt Cindy Sheehan was arrested for?
. . . especially with "PRO-GUN" printed directly below it.
Just sayin' ;~)
Maybe he meant exhausting all the sane, reasonable and intelligent options, but they never bothered to try these out anyway.
This is the best argument yet for the public option. God Bless Glenn Beck.
