Real voter fraud is fairly rare and it has legal penalities if the person is caught. I can't imagine anyone risking it, especially by using the mails, because that makes it a Federal beef. What proof do you offer of this fraud?

They have to get out ahead of the loss, epkklk851. You know, just in case the right person wins! Meaning, of course, the Right person will have lost.

I know of at least one case of voter fraud, by the way.

What's funny is Beck seems to be complaining that the number of voters is going up, meaning more people are getting involved in government, which you'd think would be a good thing in a democratic republic. Unless you're Republican, of course. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out.

I see a pattern there, first Florida, and now Connecticut. I would have made sure I did everything right the first time it hit the papers. I worried about being registered in two places, because I was overseas and had residence in California before coming to Virginia, but I never voted in California after I set up my bank account in Virginia months before I officially took up residence.

Wingnuts concerned about voter fraud is just too rich for words. 2000? 2004? Their answer to fraud claims was "Shut up."

2008 rolls around, they get their clocks cleaned and blame ACORN voter fraud, which never happened and now they're concerned about your right to vote almost a decade later.

Not about Diebold or transparency. ACORN.

What worked for the GOP in Florida in 2000, should just be repeated. Why not use what's worked before?

Tell us in detail, slrtx, what 'worked' in 2000. 9 years later and still, NO proof of fraud, just democrat talking points for a parrot like you.

I had to wipe my eyes a few times, when I saw puppienrainbows witty input.

A Fox-hugger actually wanting proof of something?

Based on what we see on Fox, I didn't think they looked for proof of anything. ;-)

Fraud? Maybe not, but the will of the people of Florida (and its court systems) were ignored in a ruling by the SCOTUS, that was so erroneous, that they wrote in their opinion that it should be not be used as precedent, which is something that's never happened before in a SCOTUS ruling.

"Democrat talking points"? I seem to recall the Democratic talking point after the Florida fiasco being "It would hurt the country to ask for this to be scrutinized in any way, shape or form. Please commence gutting the country and calling us unpatriotic, President Bush, sir, because that helps us heal as a nation or something."

The Supreme Court decided the President of the United States in 2000.

If that is not usurping the power of the people, then I am not quite sure what is.
