LIMBAUGH: And how about DeDe Scozzafava? DeDe Scozzafava. You know what? DeDe Scozzafava has just screwed every RINO in the country by showing everybody who they are. One thing about -- you know, what do I say about radio? People say, "Rush, does it matter if it's on AM or FM?"

No, no. Content, content, content, content. Content determines what people will listen to. And in politics, principle, principle, principle. Moderates by definition have no principles. They're wishy-wa -- I bet a typical moderate is Lindsey Grahamnesty -- a typical moderate. They're all over the place. They go with the flow. They think of themselves first. They're not guided by principle at all.

And DeDe Scozzafava has just delivered a teachable moment for those who lack a keen sense of the obvious. RINOs cannot be trusted. Republicans-in-name-only cannot be trusted. They aren't principled. You vote 'em into office, and you're gonna get cap and tax. You're gonna get some version of Obamacare. You're gonna get tax increases. You're gonna get TARP bailouts. You're gonna get amnesty.

I hop ethis RINO hunt continues until 2010 and through to 2012. Best possible thing that could happen to the Democrats.

      That's my take anyway.

For someone who claims to be anti-communist, Rush sure does like to borrow a lot of moves from the Stalin playbook.

        Too true.
But in all fairness, Rush's problem with socialism is the re-distribution of wealth not the authoritarian government. He simply needs the 'right to profit' to function (granted by the forty-fifth amendment, I believe).
He might be more akin to facism.

I don't like Lindsey Graham, and I wouldn't vote for him if his was the only name on the ballot, but the man has Conservative credentials. And he manages to cultivate respect on the Hill. Rush is a blow hard who has never put his backside where his mouth is. Why doesn't he get up and run for office? He seems to think he could do a better job, let's see him prove it.

Nah, it's much easier and more profitable to comment on the process instead of trying to help it along.

These hard right wing crackpots like Limbaugh, Beck and Hannity are just like the Birchers back in the 60's. They will pull the republicans to the extreme right, and end up nominating a Goldwater type. To those that aren't old enough, Johnson blew Goldwater out in a big big way in 1964, and killed off the hard right wing crackpots, until Gingrich showed up in the early 90's.

As much as the right wing crackpots worship Reagan, he was not a right wing extremist. He was way, right wing for my tastes, but compared to Limbaugh, Beck and Hannity, he was a flaming liberal.

In defense of Barry Goldwater, he was opposed to the Birchers, and along with William F. Buckley, they ran them out of the Party. Barry Goldwater was a Conservative, but he wasn't a Bircher and he couldn't stand the Moral Majority types. Too bad there is no one of his stature to chase out these present-day wing nuts!

Switch up some terms and some names and you could hope some party leader would say these things to Rush or Glenn. Where is Lindsey Graham on this? Where is Michael Steele on this?

"There are a few Conservatives whom I call Dittoheads and Beckerheads, and these are the fanatics who regard everyone who doesn't totally agree with them as Marxist/Fascist sympathizers."

I remember Rush and Hannity etc. were excoriating the "democrat" party for "excluding" Joe Leiberman, claiming that Democrats require idealogical purity.

Talkin out the Side of his big fat neck again . . .

"has just screwed every RINO in the country".

Mr. Limbaugh even for you this is nasty. I wonder how you would feel if 'some people' used your words and said the following:
"Rushs mom screwed every horse she could find and the results were a horses' butt called Rush"..now someone saying that would be crass and inappropriate. What you say about that Rush.

The woman you are bashing may have a family and be a terrific person and you feel you have the right to say that about her.

I would never say anything like that about anyone..even for ratings or to pump up your image.
