      1. O'Reilly acts surprised by the fact that the bill is 2000 pages while many Fox commentators claim it should be shorter. Later he states it is ill-defined. What is the real problem with the bill?? Is it too long and needs less definition or is it ill-defined and more should be written to make the definitions clear?

      2. The bill might come in at around 1 trillion dollars, but why doesn't anybody mention that is over 10 years which is said to fit within the cost framework of the budget. In the long run these measures are meant to cut the overall expense of health care which is one and a half times greater than that of any other wealthy nation.

The sad thing is that most of the FNC commentators don't realize that bills need to be that long. Otherwise, companies and individuals will seek out loopholes in undefined situations/language which will cause chaos for the agencies and the courts. Instead FNC commentators resort to claims of "vagueness" and complaints regarding length. That way none of their viewers will attempt to read the bill and will just listen to their favorite commentator to reinforce their belief that the government is socialist, out to get them, and wants to kill granny.

I just grow weary of people who claim to know that the bill will cause the downfall of the healthcare system, when many of them have not even read the bill (looking at you Bachmann).

I think bill tries to sound more credible by stating the nut cases lies before his.

It's getting freakier and freakier to watch Bill be the 'good cop' in the FNC routine.

Is that true, btw? 2%? What's that, 6 million people maybe?

Not that this changes the fallacy of essentially saying it's the public option alone that costs $1 trillion, which is what makes his point misleading.

And the constant pandering to the dummies - their target audience - who are actually offended by the length of the bill, which implies you might have to spend a significant amount of time....gasp....reading.
