On the October 21 broadcast of The Radio Factor, after a caller noted that Sen. John McCain "accepted money" from G. Gordon Liddy, and that Liddy "held a fundraiser for him in 1998," host Bill O'Reilly declared: "McCain has nothing to do with G. Gordon Liddy -- nothing." O'Reilly continued: "I mean, if you want to make a comparison between Bill Ayers, who has consistently over the years interacted face-to-face with John McCain -- with Barack Obama, I should say -- if you want to make a comparison to Liddy sendin' the guy some money and holdin' a fundraiser 20 years ago, I mean, come on. It's ridiculous." However, in addition to the fundraiser the caller referenced, which Liddy reportedly held for McCain 10 years ago -- not 20 years ago as O'Reilly claimed -- McCain has repeatedly appeared on Liddy's radio show during the presidential campaign, including as recently as May. Indeed, during his appearance on the October 16 edition of CBS' Late Show with David Letterman, McCain said that he was "not in any way embarrassed to know Gordon Liddy."
An online video labeled "John McCain On The G. Gordon Liddy Show 11/8/07" includes a discussion between Liddy and McCain, whom Liddy described as an "old friend." During the segment, McCain praised Liddy's "adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great," said he was "proud" of Liddy, and said that "it's always a pleasure for me to come on your program."
As Media Matters for America has detailed, Liddy served four and a half years in prison in connection with his conviction for his role in the Watergate break-in and the break-in at the office of the psychiatrist of Daniel Ellsberg, the military analyst who leaked the Pentagon Papers. Liddy has acknowledged preparing to kill someone during the Ellsberg break-in "if necessary"; plotting to kill journalist Jack Anderson; plotting with a "gangland figure" to kill Howard Hunt to stop him from cooperating with investigators; plotting to firebomb the Brookings Institution; and plotting to kidnap "leftist guerillas" at the 1972 Republican National Convention -- a plan he outlined to the Nixon administration using terminology borrowed from the Nazis. (The homicide, firebombing, and kidnapping plots were never carried out; the break-ins were.) During the 1990s, Liddy reportedly instructed his radio audience on multiple occasions on how to shoot Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms agents and also reportedly said he had named his shooting targets after Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Why defend the fundamentals and ideals of Marxism, and then deny

On the other hand, I can see a VERY pro-business argument for single-payer healthcare (that is funded fairly) and public education.
More realistically, it's a question of balance. Pure capitalism is a disaster just as much as communism is. It's just a question of how much government presence is acceptable within the economic machinery. And, of course, I agree that healthcare has a very strong business benefit to it. That's the sort of discussion that should be taking place, as opposed to fearmongering about Marxism and socialism.
The problem with most of the media, regardless of centrist, right or left, is that they're sensational. Somebody supports something that is a social rather than a private operations, and it's SOCIALISM!! SOCIALIST!! It's just sensationalism, not reason.

I was referring to the historical situations where communism was applied to governing. Lots, LOTS, of people die every time, and the only "equality" that comes through is that a lot more people are equally poor than before.
Before you say "But China!!", lots of people died, lots of people still die there for dissent every year, and they are not at all a true communist country.
For the most part it has worked over the years. That why so few whites stand up for justice and that's why there are so many uncle-toms. If they are not willing to speak the truth, they certainly don't want YOU to speak the truth, especially if you represent them. Their motto is: "We don't care about right or wrong, all we want to know is if you are for us". That has always been the black man's initiation into white politics.
Most independent/nationalist black thinkers are kept out of the main-stream of "Hannity's America". But things are changing slowly because white media, including Fox News, threw everythings imaginable at this positive black man (Obama)and so far he has survived all the negative attacks and criticism that worked in the past, AND managed to keep his status in main-stream America. So, what worked in the past is not as effective today and that is why Repubicans and conservatives are pulling out all the stops. They are angry that Obama is still sitting in the Oval Office. They were certain Obama would have fallen by now.
Take [Klan]nity for example: when he don't have anything factual or legitimate that reflects negatively on Obama he will make something up or he will out right lie.
Since white folks have been getting away with doing this for a long time Hannity have no problem carrying on this American tradition (portray blacks negatively). Hannity feel as long as his target is black people and "n&^^%r lovers" he has nothing to worry about. So far he is right. Fox News is getting away with murder.
That is why conservatives say so many ridiculously stupid things, no fear of being called on the carpet. Hopefully it is a new day and the masses are waking up to this evil. In the meantime Sean feel safe bringing up Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers name for no other reason than the old guilt-by-association BS. Hannity, Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh needs to know how it feels to be under a constant threat-for your life. This is what they do to these Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright when they bring up their names.
