Umm, Glenn, if everyone liked working with you, why were the elevator rides uncomfortable? If you hate having make-up put on, why did you agree to a TV show? If it was such a wonderful place, why do you feel like you infecting the Borg. I know that Republicans are normal people, I know that Conservatives can be likable, but I don't think I would like you, Glenn. Did you listen to your tone of voice in this clip? You sound angry with a hint of nasty thrown in. Just because you said it, doesn't change that fact that I find you and your message hateful, and you are a fearmonger. But it was good to know that you weren't happy at CNN. I guess you wouldn't have lasted much longer there anyway.

Boy could use a little make-up to be brutally honest.

Well, yes, the sight of that unmade up pasty white hide would make the Pillsbury Doughboy comparisons even easier...except PoppinFresh is cute and lovable.

Hard to count the contradictions in this one clip. We know for sure, Glenn's elevator never, went all the way to the top.

No, Beck has delusions of adequacy.

He (Beck) is beginning to sound like that Koresh guy ( the History Chanell is showing documentaries on Koresh and jim Jones ) the similarities are eerie.

It kind of makes me chuckle that Rush and Glenn are always making Star Trek references. The shows always portrayed the future as a progressive one. The series were replete with examples of tolerance, equality, and, if nothing else, a powerful central government... I often wonder, did they even watch the shows?

LOL. United Federation of Planets, anyone? Government can't get much bigger than that.

Honestly, I lived and breathed Star Trek as a kid. It was an enormous influence on me politically. I grew up expecting the world to be tolerant, just, and diverse. I treated foreign travel as a first contact away mission. And yes, the Federation is a huge central government, with a single military/scientific presense. And let's not forget free, single provider health-care.

That's not so odd. I'm sure there are fans of 24 that don't advocate torture.

I have to admit, I enjoy 24 as a kind of Fantasy.
Okay, I'm a fan of Kiefer Sutherland (and his dad) and have a bit of a crush on "Chloe" (Mary Lynn Rajskub)

I think Glenn Beck just realized something that he hadn't admitted to himself. Something that most of us knew a while ago. He doesn't matter. And that's what this little clip is really about: denial. "Uh-huh! I do too matter! Look! I changed things at CNN by my very presence!" Um, no, Glenn. No. Just... No.

Mr Beck also suggested his female guests to take off their blouse so he could take a picture ( he had a camera on the ready ) He got fired soon after

      Beck:
You don't know what an uncomfortable elevator ride is every day.
Please, all you unemployed, you garbage collectors, restroom attendants and soldiers in the Middle East--can we have a show of sympathy for Glenn Beck, the poor, uncomfortable millionaire...

His show was actually watchable at CNN. I think Fox fits better with the borg comparison,

when Hoffman was shown on the Daily Show last night there were loud bouts of uncontrollable laughter at the mere sight of him.

And Beck is that guy's mentor.

      Nuff said.

(ps. Glenn's ratings on Headline News were so low he tripped over them. Just sayin.)

Beck is not only a mentor but also the saviour of the United States, for he is reading a lot of books. It was Paul Revere yesterday.

The only change Beck effected at CNN was the rise in the average IQ of its employees when he left.

These are the ramblings of someone how has fallen off of the drunk wagon. He can't possibly be sober and spew the hate and fear and outrageous lies that he does.
