      According to what I read earlier, they haven't gotten a response from more than a few people. Most folks think this woman is NUTS.

      I hate to point out, but as a resident of DC i can tell you even on a normal day you cant just wander the capital at random (yes you can wander many parts of it, but not all of it, and not where senators and congressmen are working)

      Not only that most of the Congress isnt in the capital for most of the day (unless there is a vote) they are in the house and senate office buliding on the street behind the capital, running about 3 blocks in each direction. In other words these people will probibly be unable to find their members of Congress even if they can get into all of the capital

        Absolutely right. I used to work for a tour group and could take people through the basement of the Capital, into various rooms, etc.- but that was before 9/11. Now you can't go anywhere without an official guide, and even then you are restricted.

        I promise that these idiots will try to "exercise their rights" to bring a gun into the House Gallery, or open any damn door they please, will be refused access, and blame Reid and Pelosi. It's like predicting frost in winter.

      Hmmmm.... I wonder if my copy of our constitution is an out-of-date edition?

      I gotta hand it to her though. With help from the propaganda arm of the RNC, she can't loose.

      Big turnout? She's a true leader of the movement.

      Lousy turnout? She's a victim of the evil Pelosi and she'll be able to hand this off to Beck The Mormonster for several days of blackboard diagramming.

      Bachmann's been going in & out of the Capital building for about 3 years now, and SHE'S JUST NOW REALIZING THAT CAPITAL SECURITY MAY NOT LET A MOB IN?????

      That's like me suddenly realizing I have locks on the doors to my house!

      No. She knows full well what she's doing. She knows they'll be turned back. So, she's prepping the media to blame it on Pelosi.

      If I was Nancy Pelosi and it was within my power to increase security on Capitol Hill you can be damn sure I'd tighten security. Not to say that all of these protesters are dangerous...but you can be sure there will be a good share of nut cases whose anger is being stirred daily by the likes of Glenn Beck and FOX News.
