"Not that there's anything WRONG with that!"

Really, though, I have to wonder how many of these guys are lying shills and how many are just as misled as the average American who gets conned into believing the lies.

Wow. I didn't know America was that fragile that it could be destroyed by passing one bill.

Yeah, really -- I figured it would be a bill suspending the writ of habeas corpus or something called the "Patriot Act" that would do us in . . .

This is just the beginning Shags...

Next they'll try to regulate banks so they can't destroy the economy with impugnity. This will destroy liberty and capitalism.

        It's the end.

I'm afraid he's right. If America doesn't continue to sit idly by while people die because they have no health insurance, the country will perish from this earth, or just the people who have no health insurance, but who's counting.

That country that Dick, Glenn and Hannity are always talking about never existed.

I'm all for sending anyone who considers himself a "Great American©" to the country of their choice. As far away from here as is possible.

Is it the sort of country where the government actually gets something done, or provides a service to the average American for the money we give them, as opposed to the country that just takes our money and trickles it up to Dick Morris and his friends? Is this what the little drama queen is fretting about?

I must repost this video. An instant classic. Watch Fox build up the NY-23 race as a referendum on Obama, then the sudden backpedal.

That's a hilarious video, Fantagor. I hadn't seen much tv coverage of the race, I didn't realize the wingnuts were calling it for Hoffman even before the Republican withdrew.

I don't know if the right wing media actually believes themselves, or if they just know their audience and their hunger for feel good happy talk BS. If they do believe themselves, what a shock to their systems it would be if they were suddenly able to be made aware of how out of touch they are.

40 percent of USA is conservative? Does that include the anti-choice, anti-gay part? So people in med school are already affected by Obama's NOT YET approved policy? Am I missing something?

The funniest thing about those clips is at the end, when the clueless political "analyst" on Fox says "this is an obscure, sparsely populated district..."

I guess he skipped school the day they taught the kids that EVERY DISTRICT HAS THE SAME NUMBER OF CONSTITUENTS. Moron!

To be fair, they all don't have the same population density. So it is possible for a district to be sparsely populated if it is large enough in land area.

fantagor, that video was freaking HILARIOUS!! Thank you!

Loooved what the Fox Comedy Channel pundit said at 4:00: "Political experts say what we're seeing in New York is likely a preview of what we're going to see across the country in 2010 and 2012."

ROFL! If that's the case, Obama should just pull a Nixon '72 and don't even bother campaigning in '12 . . .
