I laughed out loud at least ten times!
His physical mocking of Glenn Beck's movements was really good too!
If you watch it, it'll be 8 1/2 of the best minutes of your life!
Well, except for the last time I saw Beck do the exact same thing. Now I understand why I laugh everytime I see Beck.
Of course, Jon Stewart's (parody) rant was much better.
Glenn needs to work on his routine.
Maybe Glenn Beck will learn something from all of this. I doubt he'll realize that union nurses are helping him. But perhaps he will realize that God is sending him a message. A message that he's being kind of insane and scaring people to make a buck. And that he needs to knock it off.
I wonder how those Doctors and Nurses feel, though, about this. Or any of the hospital staff. I wonder if any of them were around during 9/11. Remember how, at first, all hospitals were on standby to take in the thousands that were expected to come pouring into the ER after search and rescue? And hour after hour went by, and nobody really showed up. I can't even begin to imagine what that was like. Being a medical professional and just waiting. Almost HOPING that someone would come through that door that you could save. That what those terrorists did didn't really kill ALL those people.
And there is Glenn Beck. Using 9/11 as his own little gimmick to get people to watch his show. And buy his books. He's in their care and they will do a great job. They will treat him like he would never be able to treat them if the shoes were on the other foot.
Also, it will be interesting to see how a recovering addict handles getting a huge supply of narcotic pain killers over the next few weeks / months.
That all said - Glenn Beck is a sad, sad man. A sorry excuse for a "man". The people who watch his show - who look up to him and respect him are sad, sad people. I never wish pain on anyone, and I will definitely send prayers his way. But not because I respect him. Or care about his well being. But because I feel pity for him.
I almost crapped my pants laughing at this parody.
Please Jon.
Save Glenn Beck before the rest of us ignorants realize we've missed out on our last chance for survival.
Glenn Beck is the savior! The Obama socialist agenda will allow his appendix to be absconded by those freedom-hating louts.
If the socialists really loved freedom and democracy, they would allow his appendix to burst.
Why should the tyranny that is health care reform be allowed to do such things as steal our appendix? You take a stand Glenn and don't allow them to steal your appendix.
In the meantime, while you are convalescing, we will look for the Acorn conspiracy behind this.
Be careful, I heard the Acorn worker who killed her husband, also is involved with organ harvesting syndicates.

Phase I: Co-opt the opposition with a ranting, big-eared dry drunk to make the "liberty" movement appear ridiculous, racist, ignorant, etc..
Phaswe II: Employ media allies to accentuate the absurdity of, and mock, said fake opposition personality...thus, in the public's mind, tying an organic, legitimate anti-establishment movement to a lunatic like Glenn Beck.

Phase I: Deny the degradation of rational discourse and to try to legitimize the baseless and factually bankrupt 'liberty' movement.
Phase II: Foist the tired old straw man of liberal media bias and feign indignation over the exposing of a ludicrously partisan and inorganic movement that advocates sedition, treason, and even assassination.
...then imply that we are all blind sheep because we don't see the same non-existent enemies as you do.
I have to agree with the first poster: masterful.
This is the genius and perfection of Stewart and why he is so important.
The whole bit was just a tour de force.
10.2% unemployment, 13 people dead, 31 wounded in Ft. Hood, TX-- but kudos to J-Stew for making us all laugh.

Stewart's show is taped in the mornings/afternoon, before the Hood shootings took place.
We should be able to laugh when something tragic happens.
We should be able to laugh when unemployment is so high, because it might take our minds off of not having a job for even just a few minutes.
Comedy, which you apparently don't understand, is supposed to make us laugh. Anyone who watched this bit, should have laughed, because it was funny, and a spot on parody of Mr. Beck's crazed rantings.
Also, I know you'll come back and say something silly like Stewart doesn't make fun of liberals. Well, you'd be completely wrong there. He regularly skewers Obama, and other prominent liberal / democratic politicians.
You have every day to make sport of Glenn Beck, which you do routinely. This morning shouldn't be one of those.

Comparing Jon Stewart's spot on impersonation of COMEDIAN Glenn Beck's completely disjointed idiocy with Mr. Obama's use of prudence and lack of incitement of TERROR in what appears to have been a horrific mass murder is about as cogent as a Beck blackboard rant.

Something Glenn Beck does not understand.
He writes of the third worst poets in the Galaxy: the Vogons. Their greatest poet, Grunthos the Flatulent, was about to read his 12 book poem "My Favourite Bathtime Gurgles", when his own large intestine, in order to save humanity, leapt straight through his neck and throttled his brain.
The "Yellow" in "Yellow Journalism" refers to the rapid yellowing deterioration of the new wood pulp paper, where the Hemp paper commonly used before then (and made of Hemp grown by American Farmers since George Washington and Thomas Jefferson who both grew and smoked Hemp crops by the way), is longer lasting and more durable paper.
See "Rag content" in fine paper products. Know that Ben Franklin made Hemp paper from old Hemp clothes for his printing press. Know that USA paper money "dollars" are printed on 24 % hemp paper. Smithsonian is removing all mention of Hemp so as to not "send the wrong message" to the people of America, for the children, we don't want to send the wrong message to the Children? So we can't tell the truth? This will cripple and taint research and stifle innovation and competition throughout Industry in America until we see (the widespread and unrestricted growth of) American Hemp Crops return to fields on American Farms.
