Oh jeez... Here we go. Muslims can't serve honorably in our nation's military? What a joke you guys are, seriously. A large scale big joke.

What about Muslims who have died for this country as soldiers? Are you also trying to tell me that other people who enter the military don't have "attitude"? What does that even mean? Muslims are joining the military because they hate the country? Only in wingnut world does that even make sense.

And again, we take a turn towards the bizzarro world of mainstream republicans. Up is down. Losses are wins. Quitters are great. And so on.

I think her "Muslims with attitude" list on her website is supposed to be a reference to the rap group NWA. It's just dog whistle racism.

Muslims have been serving honorably for our country since before you were born, Beck.

Beck, why do you hate our troops?

I think "syndicated columnist" is overstating her qualifications. Hasn't she been discredited everywhere else, it's amazing anyone can take her seriously or see her having any credibility as a commentator.

Isn't it odd that in Malkin's Utopian ideal of a litmus test for who can stay and live in this country, her own parents would have been suspect when they overstayed their student visas?

Don't these wingnuts ever think beyond their seething hate?

This girl has loads of nerve being critical of the "false god of diversity". If it weren't for America striving for racial diversity in all its sectors, she would be sitting there being a woman and being of Philippino heritage. Pot calling Kettle black, anyone?

Oh sure... I'll bet she could stand up on her high heels and squawk "Hey buddy... I was born here! I'm American through and through." Well, sure, but so was Hasan.

As usual, paranoid right-wingers need someone to blame. The Nazis blamed the Jews. The Jews blame the Palestinians. The radical Palestinians blame Americans. And the Americans blame... well, everybody else who isn't American, or if they are American, they're not American-enough because they don't fit in the tiny right-wing swimming pool called Conservative America.

Like a guy is going to go through all the army's medical school programs just to infiltrate the military to shoot and kill soldiers. If a Muslim wanted to infiltrate and kill soldiers he would just enlist as an infantryman that way he could have access to guns and then go on a rampage.

This guy became deranged because he started becoming fanatical in his religious beliefs years AFTER he joined the army. Coupled with the fact he didn't want to go to Iraq, he went crazy and shot people.

Conservatives like to throw the word terrorism around because it validates their over exaggerated fears of Muslims in general.

Whats wrong with being a Muslim first and an American second? Don't conservatives preach God before country when they refer to their patriotism? How is this different? I guarantee that if someone says they are an Evangelical first and an American second no one would be alarmed. Give me a break Michelle.

What the hell happened to this country?

We have losers like Malkin, Beck, etc. criticizing Muslim-Americans, who volunteer to defend this country and none of these cretins has ever served.

I remember plenty of white, Christian, men with attitudes in the military and they never complained.

The whole point of their argument is for them to be allowed to be racist and to cleanse America of those who do not belong.

Her last sentence is a contradiction greatest hit. She seems to support diversity in order to attack the concept of diversity.

Is there anybody here who didn't see this coming?

Michele Malkin and others on the extremist right see this horrible and violent tradgedy as a grand opportunity to reinstitutionalize religious bigotry and xenophobia as national policies. For fascism to succeed, it is absolutely necessary to identify the Other... the internal alien... who seeks to undermine the security and cohesion of the state. It is this Other who is scapegoated for all failures and corruptions within the nation, and is portrayed as actively and surreptitiously attempting to destroy an otherwise perfect culture with their foreign and malignant ideas... like a bacteria invading an unsuspecting host.

Malkin made her bones in the right wing echo chamber as an apologist for the racist and unconstitutional internment of Japanese Americans as well as Japanese nationals during WWII, so it should come as no great surprise that she is attempting to duplicate that despicable feat here. Just as the Nazis scapegoated the Jews, so Malkin now seeks to scapegoat the Muslims. She undoubtedly will soon call for Muslims to be totally excluded from serving in the armed forces, as well as from other 'sensitive' jobs. Demands for the internment of this 'suspect' minority will surely follow closely. That it is unadulterated racism and religious bigotry that is completely at odds with the Constitution and our core beliefs as a nation that she is willfully engaging in will be conveniently overlooked by the rest of the whored-out MSM, just as long as Faux News is able to pull in high ratings an ad revenues.

It's clear now that last year's dumping of Dubya' and Darth Cheney were far from enough to stem the tide of fascism that had lifted them into power. The militant corporatists still control most of the traditional media... giving intellectual thugs like Malkin and Glenn Dreck a mostly unchallenged and unobstructed electronic soap box from which they can continue to engage in the projectile vomiting of their toxic, hate-laden propaganda. The right is getting crazier and more deranged with every passing day, as raging teabaggers and glowering neofascists fling their convoluted, self-defeating feces at all passersby. Their threats of violence are getting less and less subtle all the time.

Well, I guess we better role up our sleeves, because we of the reality-based community certainly have our work cut out for us now.

Mickey, you lost me at "I don't think..." I am convinced you "don't think" since you came on the scene.

By all accounts....ALL. Everybody remember that when a new ALL account comes to light.

To be honest, what the hell are the nutz talking about?

False god of diversity. How long did it take her to get that line in the mainstream.

I'm suprised this isn't Clintons' fault.

Mickey, by all accounts you boys sat on information that was glaring before that killing of 3000 on 9/11. But that is in the past, maybe for you.

Rush to whitewash? Really? If I remember correctly, wasn't everybody on the right rushing to call Hassan a radical Muslim extremist, even before any facts were released, other than his name. As far as it being clear as day that jihad was his motivation, the FBI and the military has not concluded its investigation yet. I think it is a little early to be jumping to conclusions.....wait, you were doing that 3 days ago?

You would think that Malkin would distance herself from such racist rhetoric because of her ethnic background, but I guess when you support immigration reform that would have thrown your parents out of the country on their butts, that's not the case. I've heard people say God first, then country, but since that's a Christian concept, its okay. She must not know about all those anti-government militias that operate under fundamental Christian beliefs as well.

Oh well, as long as they don't create Muslim internment camps, we should be fine...oh wait, I forgot about Gitmo.

Instead of "culture of corruption", somebody needs to write a new book titled "culture of hate"

I'm sure Malkin can write that one as well she is full of it.
