The hysterical conservative apologetics are getting out of hand. I have divined the next step in the madness:

"If Obama could just build a flying car that runs on condor eggs, we would support him! Also, it has to be fifteen feet long, made of solid gold, and cost under $3,000. It must also contain a sentient machine intellect that knows neither fear nor remorse."

Hume is vying for Grand Poobah of the Loyal Order of Teabaggers.

These guys celebrate victories that don't exist like NY-23rd. I think they are a little sick in the head and more people need to point this out.

I guess this is wh they don't like facts because the truth is a very sticky issue for them.

      - The unemployed do not have to pay the taxes on the first $2400.00 in unemployment compensation.

      - Small businesses received several incentives including a 3% holding tax for companies that provide goods or services with the government, a cut in the capital gains tax for investors, credits for those who hire students and veterans, and a delay on taxes for businesses that reduce their debt in order for those companies to employ the newly hired.

Ohhhh! Wait, I get it! These are taxes for the middle and lower class and small businesses. No wonder the Republicans missed them.

All of that is not good enough for Hume. He wanted to see tax rate cuts......but he doesn't say for whom.

These are tax cuts for the poor, middle class and small business. They want tax cuts for the richest people and businesses. There is not a problem in this country that they believe tax cuts (for the rich) can't solve.

...his base might have objected, but there would have been a lot more than one Republican vote...

Oh please, Obama take Hume's advice. Ignore the masses who want healthcare reform and voted for you and pander to the diminishing Republican party grasping for air. Yes, that is the best way to go! What a scholar this man is.
