If this is the new brand of Christian(ism)... it sure makes me glad I'm an agnostic! Because if the Christian God feels this way.. I want nothing to do with him/her/it!!
Though I doubt God (if he/she/it truly exists) gives a damn about whether I believe in his/her/its power or existence... I think it is not much of a jump to figure that God (if real) is rather po'ed at Robertson for helping to take the Christian religion (which I thought was all about compassion, understanding, and forgiveness for all??) back in the direction of the Spanish Inquisition!

Hasan, if half of what I've heard is true, had given a number of signals that he was uncomfortable, to say the least, with our military's mission in the Middle East. He didn't have great ratings, and he had clearly stated his objections to being deployed. The military is so overstretched, however, especially in his MOS, that they needed a warm body, and he was it.
I'd like to get the pay-per-view rights for the day of reckoning for Pat. St. Peter will probably just laugh at him just like Ray Lioota in 'Goodfellows' when he and Pesci show up late.
Please do it as soon as possible.

So Islam is a "political system" bent on world domination and is not a religion. I wonder what the worlds 1.5 billion Muslims would have to say about that? I wonder if they know they are not practicing a religion? I am sure they will be surprised to find out that Islam is catagorized as no different than communism or fascism by good old Pat. As I recall, some years ago, Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell or saying that the attacks that occurred on 9/11 occurred because of the ACLU, homosexuality, promiscuity, and most every other thing that Pat Robertson did not agree with. Shouldn't Pat be a little bit more consistent and say this guy was an instrument of God who was punishing the people in the Fort Hood area because of their acceptance of things that Pat does not agree with? Or was it because the attacks on 9/11 took place in a more liberal part of the country? Is it also because people in Texas are God-loving, God-fearing Americans? On the one hand Americans are being punished by God, but on the other hand, there is a nut in Texas.
In regards to the First Amendment, it allows people to say all kinds of things--unfortunately, it also allows people to lie and spread hatred.
Be more specific. What exactly do you want us to do? Do you want the government to enact policies against Muslims? Do you want us non-Muslims to harass Muslims -- perhaps demand that they convert to Christianity? Why can't you be more clear about your intentions?
We have a local talk show host here in Denver, Peter Boyles (I call him Pee Boy), who does the same thing. He says that we may not be at war with Islam, but Islam is at war with us. Over and over he talks about Muslims and terrorism. But he doesn't say what he wants to do about it. He feeds the hate, but he won't say what we should do about it. He's a coward, Pat, just like you.
And didn't you call for God's wrath on Dover, PA, for rejecting God in it's ruling on IntellCreationismigent Design? Seems you are exactly what you perceive Muslims to be.
Therefore we need to make peace with our so called enemies who are not really enemies but tools of God. Turn the other cheek maybe? Or just plain repent and hope God let's up and tells them to "cool it". Just more proof how religion can be used as a political tool and why our forefathers tried to keep religion out of government by separating church and state.
Little does he know Islam is a religion and every race practice Islam as the same as every race practices Christianity. So Patty are you after every race that practice Islam or are you just after Arabic Muslims? Either way is wrong and you are a right-wing nutjob!
