House health bill would cost $1 trillion, gov't will "put you in jail" for not buying insurance

What a cunningly ingenious plan for a permanent Democratic majority: Jail people for not buying insurance.

If only we American Hating Liberals had thought of this sooner, we never would have Bush 1 or Bush 2.

      BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAH!

You my friend are a clown it is in the bill that "ALL MUST HAVE SOME TYPE OF INSURANCE OF FACE A PENALTY"

Do you think they will do since there is a provision in the bill for the government to be able to access the IRS tax files?!?!? and you thought tapping terrorists phone calls were illegal?!!?

It's a 2.5% tax on adjusted gross income, not to exceed a year of national average premium. It's not a penalty, it's a tax. Just like we do to smokers to cover the increased burden they place on the healthcare system. The tax only counts if your insurance does not meet the requirements. Very few people will fail to fall within the exceptions because many poor people will be covered by Medicaid.

As for the comment you made earlier, you seemed to imply that Napolitano was correct about putting people in jail. So, once again, I'm asking you where it says that they will go to jail? People won't go to jail because there is no value in sending people to jail, unless they willfully evade their tax obligations. Even if it is willful evasion, most courts will just impose a fine.

Now your just trying to dodge my question. If you have a good argument to make, then make it. Don't just get on here an make conclusory statements supporting the lies that Fox proves. As for your "WHO CARES WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING!!!!!!" comment, who should have to pay for our government? China?

It should have said "lies that Fox provides." Stupid auto-correct spell check.
