First of all, Mr. Napolitano, it's FOX Propaganda, all right? Y'all worked really hard to earn the title, and you live up to it every day, so why stop now?

Second, the Constitution does not give the government any power over automobiles, so we'll repeal federal safety standards. Likewise telephone, radio, and television, so the FCC? All that will be repealed. There is nothing in the Constitution allowing for a Food and Drug Administration, so we'll just have to get rid of that, too. Lead paint in your peanut butter? Buyer beware! The Air Force will have to be disbanded, as will NASA. Plus, at least in the south, slavery will make a big comeback, because that used to be in the Constitution, didn't it? Ooops! The FBI, CIA, and especially the Department of Homeland Security will all have to go as well, since they are mentioned nowhere in the Constitution. The money you have in the local bank? No longer insured!

The reality is, you have no idea what you're talking about. The only real expertise you have is in being an overpaid windbag. Good thing FOX is around to support you, else you'd be selling pencils on a streetcorner.

Did Glenn Beck lose his international appeal to sanction the folks who ran a website questioning whether he raped and murdered a girl in 1990?

Answer is - yes. International court rejected Beck's demands.

The tide is swiftly turning against Beck. His days of terrorizing Americans with his vile nonsense are numbered.

Constitutional Law.... like how the Patriot Act is unconstitutional.

Funny how Fox News discovered the Constitution after President Obama took office and they were asleep at the wheel when W. was stepping all over the Bill of Rights.

Actually Judge Napolitano has repeatability railed against the patriot act, such as in this clip. He has been very critical of the Bush administration. You must give him credit where it is due. He also has been highly critical on the war on drugs and supports drug legalization.

Of course, this is just the usual FOX double standard.Ignoring the 4th Amendment? No big deal. Legislating on healthcare? An unconstitutional outrage!

        Par for the course.

The question is: why don't they do what the Constitution allows and take up their case in the courts? It's not "judicial activism" when the Supreme Court strikes down a law they don't like, right?

Lets see the crazy judge is talking about constitutional law and then introduces an American history professor. Nothing against American history, after all I am personally have a major in history. I hate to break to the "judge", he ain't no authority on the law.

Just as an aside, was the judge using a teleprompter? Since Obama has been routinely criticized about using one, shouldn't we at least keep the same standards for the "judge"

For a "Constitutional Expert," the man doesn't know very much.

Under the "elastic clause" the Constitution grants congress the power to pass laws not specifically written in the document. That is why we have federal agencies like the FCC, FDA, FBI, and NTSB. Hence the reason why income taxes, the interstate highway system, and eventually a health care system are constitutional.

In addition, nullification of federal laws by state legislatures is a violation of the "supremacy clause" of the Constitution, which states that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land and that states cannot supersede the authority of the federal government.

For being a former judge, the man should be ashamed of himself for getting so much very, very wrong.

Hey, Andy, the Constitution never mentions television, so by your logic you should never appear on TV again. (Or, alternately, according to the will of anyone who isn't into self-punishment you should never appear on TV again.)

If we go by the constitution, slavery is not illegal. How does that sound to the wingnuts? Where is my slave?

Yes repeal the federal Income Tax thats a great idea...
Then we can have the military hold the country hostage again like they did after the revolutionary war because we wont have the money to pay them.
(the military threatened to go west and let the brits come back at the end of the Revolutionary War if congress didnt pay them. Congress didnt have any way to raise the money but George Washington was able to calm everybody down and prevent it from happening)

and thats just the quick anwser to one of the many stupid things he just said

Also as a side note to any republicans reading this
The reason Senators used to be elected by the states and not the people was because the founders intended for them to be the more powerful body and believed that the General Public was TOO STUPID to elect people who would actually know what was in the best interests as of the country as a whole.
Napolitano is saying we need to go back to that

In other word Republicans Napolitano is saying that you are TOO STUPID to elect a government that is in your best interests but that the state government should elect those people for you because the state knows better then you whats in your best intrests.....I know theres a word for that type of government but it slips my mind at the moment*sarcasm*.....

This guy's a judge? Who went to law school? He should try reading the 16th amendment, which, last I checked, is part of the U.S. Constitution.

What about replacing the national income tax with a national sales tax?
