So is that the most accurate to describe a racist, sexist, bigoted homophobe and Islamophobe? Label them a Republican?

In a word - yes!! Not all republicans can be discriminatory but it seems to be that every single person that is discriminatory is affiliated with the republican party.

It makes sense because look at what congressman in the GOP have done in the last few years - Attacked an entire country with no real reason to do so, opposed universal healthcare, oppose abortion rights for women, opposed a rape victim getting a fair trial, oppose equal marriage rights for all, pretty much equated Islam with terrorism, oppose social problems for poor and minority groups, lowered taxes on the richest 1 percent of America and opposes anything that allows minorities from other countries to become citizens pretty much. So the party is judged by its actions and those are the people they draw in. You would be hard pressed to find a racist or a member of the KKK or anything like that try to run on the democrat platform.

Oh yeah? The only member of congress who was a member of the KKK is Robert Byrd...a lifelong democrat.

You're lucky you fall on the side of ignorance, since stupidity is incurable. Then again, it would probably only take a slight nudge...

I agree with everything you said except for two things...

The two times you said, "pretty much."

            ------------------------------------------------------------
Take those two words out both times and I agree 100%.

You got it backwards: It's the the best way to decribe Republicans! (sexist, bigoted, homophobic, etc...)

Why does it seem that all bigots associate with Conservatism?

REALLY makes me glad to be a liberal.
