Weiner ought to look in the mirror before he hakes any comments about being a Jew hater based on his previous comments.

            Dude,

the way you said that sounds horribly anti-semitic. I dont think you meant it the way you wrote it but if you did, I think you should apologize. Please can report abuse on here and this is no place for antisemitism. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt thinking you are describing savage as worthless and hate mongering and then, just saying that he is also a jew not having the three being associated. But please clarify your point ASAP.

Well, we agree on something, sharpe. Except if samurai was a conservative I don't think you would be so gentle in your "rebuke".

Im trying to give him the benefit of the doubt here. i WOULD do the same either way. I dont think most americans are anti-semitic and I think less would admit it in an online blog. I can see that sentence being typed up and meaning something wholly different or at least the optimist in me does. If this guy does not come on and explain himself within the hour, Im reporting it as abuse though.

That was my take, too. As a starting point, Savage obviously hates himself.

This country needs to improve the applicability of laws concerning libel and slander since the FCC is asleep at the wheel. Unless you say something sexual or mention body parts. Hate and lies? No problem, that's free speech, but saying the "f" word will get you fined to oblivion. If there were money to be lost do to law suits in broadcasting hate filled rhetoric, guys like this would be out of business. They'd be in court all day. Since they have nothing else to sell or add to the "public good" but hate. If people say "well whats your definition of hate". Use the same definition we put people in jail for that are accused of obscenity. No one questions that standard.

      Savage happens to be right.

In "The Question of Carter's Cash" Claudia Rosett explores some of the people financing Jimmy Carter, including Osama bin Laden's brother.
Did Jimmy Carter do it for the money? That's the question making the rounds about Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, an anti-Israeli screed recently written by the ex-president whose Carter Center has accepted millions in Arab funding....

In recent weeks, a number of articles have noted that Carter's anti-Israeli views coincide with those of some of the center's prime financial backers, including the government of Saudi Arabia and the foundation of Saudi prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud, whose offer of $10 million to New York City just after Sept. 11 was rejected by then-mayor Rudy Giuliani because it came wrapped in the suggestion that America rethink its support of Israel. Other big donors listed in the Carter Center's annual reports include the Sultanate of Oman and the sultan himself; the government of the United Arab Emirates; and a brother of Osama bin Laden, Bakr BinLadin, 'for the Saudi BinLadin Group.'"

At least you could tell us that you cribbed this from the National Review. You know, the same National Review that hates all things democratic. Just for giggles, let's compare say, Jonah Goldberg (who works/writes for The National Review) VS Jimmy Carter:

        Carter Wiki

        Jonah Wiki

I'll take Carter over Goldberg pretty much any day of the week and twice on Sundays. See, it's articles like the one you cut and pasted above that show the ignorance. Just because you criticize Israel (and they have a lot to be criticized for) you somehow HATE Israel.

Carter has worked almost endlessly to promote peace in the Middle East, and unfortunately, it's a Herculean task.

You're right about one thing, magnolia - it's a "Herculean task". and the dim-witted Carter has never had a clue how to even begin.

"Obviously Chairman Arafat is one of the key leaders who has done everything he can in recent months to promote the peace process."
          - Jimmy Carter talking about one of the worlds leading terrorists of the century.

Some would argue that the US with its policies and wars have killed far more people than Arafat in the last 100 years. Some would even call it terrorism, bombing civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some would even call the founders of Israel terrorists as well, oh wait they were, by the British and others at the time. Try to get a grip on even a little bit of the history here before making uninformed comments.

Ok. Better nobody better help arabic people or countries, because the right-wing says so. Nevermind trying to conduct a peaceful union between countries. Lets just go to war with every arabic country! Of course the right neverminds the bad relations this country did to them first!

          Define, "free".

And aside from that, that was not the reason for invading Iraq in the first place, we only adjusted the reasoning when we found 0 weapons of mass destruction we were told were there.

Um, YES. The invasion has resulted in more civilian deaths than Saddam Hussein was responsible for. Good thing we liberated them from their homes, families and/or pulses.

You ever hear of Iraq, boxer?

It is a country in the lower part of Asia called the middle east. Along with Countries: Turkey, Syria, Sudia Arabia, India, Kuwait, and Iran.

24 million arabs are free now because of the United States.

Oh really! I served there for 13 months in 2004-2005. Most of the civilains there did not care for our presence in the country. People cheered when our soldiers were killed. I seen that with my own eyes! Some citizens liked it better when Sadam was alive and running the country. They said even though he was a cruel dictator, the country functioned. Until we the United States ruined it. Now we are stuck to repair a country that we should have never invaded.

I'm curious: why is helping the poor and downtrodden something only socialists do in America, but is "liberation" and "freedom" when it might make Dick Cheney a fat profit? And come to think of it, why is the guy who was implying all Muslims are complicit in terrorism a couple threads ago pretending to care if an overwhelmingly Muslim country is "freed"?
