Beck is an angry, angry man.

What the heck is his problem?

Either he really gets a lot of traction out Van Jones, he actually thinks he's a dangerous man or he really, really, really doesn't like the guy.

He's losing his job he has to do some damage to someone on his way down. If he was not under pressure he would have moved to a better time slot by now. Much to the relief of the other Fox crazies, he talked himself into a mess and like a true wingnut he blames his psycho talk on some else...Van Jones.

He said the same thing on the radio - I still have no clue what he is getting at even trying to follow some warped logic, I dont get it.

Obama said we have treated native americans badly - beck agrees with this but doesnt think we should give them anything. Obama didnt actually say we were giving them some reparation but beck apparently thinks that was tacitly implied. Ok so we are giving Native Americans some reparation for destroying their society outside of gambling rights. Not really all that crazy. Then, he rapidly switches to Jones after pretending to make some vague connection and it is entirely clear what Jones is even advocating for as it is cut to the very middle of some speech.

But obviously equal rights for some group that has a treaty I guess. So what is the ultimate connection here??? What is beck getting at? Native american reparation idea is all too similar to him based on equal rights with treaties. But neither ever actually makes mention to reparations. And even if you assume that is what obama is getting at, we still have no clue what Jones is even talkiing about. I just don't see it. If it like the whole fairness or equality thing? It cant be giving people stuff because Jones doesnt make any reference to that at all. So are Jones policies seen in Obama because they both like to talk about fairness and equality? That is the Jones radical idea that obama is secretly touting to keep his legacy alive? I mean one, that is a fairly common notion - fairness and equality. Two, how would this not be something obama would support without ever meeting Van Jones? Obama has to meet van jones to learn about treating people fairly? I think most of us got those lessons in kindergarten.... I DONT GET IT!

I realized beck just wants us to realize Van Jones is talking about native Americans - then why cut it to the middle of the speech when he never even says who he is talking about? And the give them the wealth line is what beck wants his viewers to think means giving reparations. Of course, what van jones actually means is entirely unclear. It has to do something with treaties made between the government and native americans I guess. After that, its all speculation and beck doesn't show any more of the clip or even explain the speech at all.

So Obama said government treated Native Americans horribly - beck would like us to assume obama is getting at reparations. Jones mentions not breaking treaties and give them the walth and beck wants us to assume that this is about native americans and jones is advocating for reparations. So the radical agenda here passed on from Jones to Obama is to give native americans something which obama makes absolutely no reference to. GREAT JOB beck - it took me about 20 mins to figure out that ridiculous logic. Thus, Im sure your viewers had absolutely no clue what you were getting it but just nodded along.

Good grief people open you eyes! It was disgusting how Obama approached his address when the Fort Hood shootings! Listen to this video clip. What MM didn't show you was also how Beck mentioned how FDR would have been looked upon if any other president gave such a speech.

You have never heard Van Jones speak of reparations? You've never heard Obama talk about how the civil rights act didn't go in the right direction because it adress reparations.

Just because you chose not to see what type of ideology is currently in our White House doesn't make it untrue.

I think Barack Obama has more important things on his plate at the moment than reparations. But, thank you for worrying about it for all the rest of us. In the meantime, we'll be supporting the President in his efforts to provide affordable health care to all Americans. We'll be in the adult section if you need us.

Glenn is trying to make something from nothing. This speech was held at the Department of Interior (juristiction over Indian lands) during November, (Native American History Month) the time stamp for the tape is November 5th at 5:04PM. This is just 2 1/2 hours after the shooting started in Texas. He goes on to condemn the President for being disturbingly detatched from reality when it deals with soldiers and being disrepectful to soldiers. At 5:00 on that Thursday, he didn't know anything because the no one really knew anything! To condemn the President for not knowing or understanding the situation when no one else did is crazy. Also, what should he have done, cancelled a planned speech to another of his constituent groups, because Native Americans are the First Americans, after all. He is just as guilty as Sean Hannity is with manipulating video footage to sell his point of view. Some members of his audience will think this was the speech given at Ft. Hood and that the President was being disrepectful to the troops and that is not the case. He is selling a particularly foul load of manure this time. His pants are down and the fire is ragging!
