promoting tea parties that are part of a astroturf movement spawned by the neo cons. yeah how is it fox news can say they are not the media arm of the neo cons anymore?

and what is accomplished by pointing out the fact that barney frank is gay? everyone knows it to begin with. at least he is doing his job, which is alot more than can be said for people like bachmann, steve king and john boehner and eric cantor.

Love that graphic. It's like the Birther Belt--a red scar of bigotry and bed-wetters.

It's pretty hilarious that they're skipping almost entirely on the Midwest beyond the plains states--traditional battleground states like Ohio, Missouri, and Indiana are completely left out. New Mexico and Arizona--where high turnouts from Latino voters are likely to turn the tide for Democrats--are completely skipped. Beyond the west coast, they're just riling up the base, which is really not where conservatives need to focus if they want to start winning elections again.

A curious amount of time in California... are they honestly expecting to turn California red in '10/'12? I guess stranger things have happened, and Prop. 8's passage might have emboldened them. Even so, there's an awful lot of preaching to the choir on that tour.

I WOULDNT OTHERWISE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THESE SO CALLED TEA-PARTY PROTESTERS, IF ONLY THEY COULD EXPLAIN WHERE WERE THEY WHEN bUSH AND cHENEY SPENT THIS COUNTRY INTO THE DEBT WE NOW HAVE? WHERE WAS THIS OUTRAGE AT BIG GOVERNMENT THEN? SO IT NOW APPEARS AS A BUNCH OF SORE LOSERS AND RACISTS GATHERING AT THESE EVENTS TO VOICE THEIR DISPLEASURE WITH HAVING A BLACK MAN AS PRESIDENT

      Mark Williams? Really?

It's Not Right Versus Left It's Right Versus Wrong? That Mark Williams? The one who called then-senator Barrack Obama a resident insurgent? That Mark Williams? The one who thinks Kim Jong-Il is taking us to the cleaners? That Mark Williams? Well, it is FOX Propaganda, so I guess any sense of fairness is right out the window. I'll play along.

"All of the above." Mr. Williams is asserting that, not only did FOX diehards show up, but Democrats, Independents, and Republicans attended these rallies. Interesting. I know it's escaped FOX's attention, but I actually believe this. Do you know why? Because at the moment, people who call themselves Democrats run the spectrum from liberal to conservative. Many points of view in the Democratic party. Now, if a similar, though liberal tour had been organized, following a similar path through the country demanding health reform now, how many liberal Republicans would've shown up? None? Probably fewer than that, actually.

"People are feeling that, number one, both parties have been hijacked by professionals who don't represent the interests of the constituencies. And lots of people are bolting parties." So, you're arguing that the Democrats have been taken over by a radio show host and a propaganda network? Because, that's what's happened to the Republicans. I've seen exactly zero evidence that your attempt at a false equivalence has any basis in fact or reality. Give you points for trying. Remember, this is FOX Propaganda, where truth doesn't matter nearly as much as opinion. See, you're appearing on the hijackers' network here, Mr. Williams. Ms. Carlson, Mr. Beck, Mr. Hannity? They're the ones wearing the ski masks and making demands.

"And, that vote last week, in the middle of the night Saturday on the health care bill, gave them a list of 220 politicians to throw out of office this coming November." Yes, and they were all Democrats, plus one lone Republican who actually voted in favor because he thought it might help those whom he served. So, again, this is a completely partisan exercise, Mr. Williams, no matter how much you wish to represent a 'majority' of Americans, it simply isn't the case.

Of course they focused on small towns, Ms. Carlson. Why? Less local coverage to prove them as liars when they inflate crowd size, for just one thing. Also, a couple of hundred people gathering to 'protest' in a small town makes a bigger splash than the same couple of hundred people in a town where, right across the street, that many might be waiting in line to get into a movie premier. Again, that's why it's propaganda and not news. But, considering where you work, you already knew that.

It looks to me as though their route spends a lot of time in some of the most sparsely populated regions of the country. It really looks geared to just those regions where a negative reception could be minimized. Maybe they're a little insecure with regard to how popular their movement really is.

I like how he relates the story of how he asks the crowds whether or not Barney Frank represents them and they all scream "No!" They're absolutely right, Frank doesn't represent them, he represents his district in Massachusetts. And when they decide he no longer represents them they'll vote for somebody else. However, seeing as he's been there for a while now, he must be doing a pretty good job in his constituents eyes. But quite frankly, one wouldn't expect the same kind of fellow who represents a liberal Massachusetts district to be representative of Bumblescum, USA.

Does these tea party crowd, waving around their copies of the constitution, even understand how a representative democracy works?
