Beck does not grasp the idea that not being a rodeo clown makes long-term employment at non-rodeo venues possible.

OK, it's a Silver Gopher and Tinted Badger twofer, but it's also really boring. Slow day in wingnut land?

Yah, Con, not earth-shattering, but it does seem to be an acknowledgment by Beck that Fox is the place for insane people to establish long-term careers.

You're right, but I don't think there's any more room at Fox for everyone's favorite drolling old grampa sitting around yelling about Mexicans.

Unless they lay off Abe Simpson.

Maybe the Fox Studio needs a greeter in their lobby. He could welcome the white people and check the papers of the not-so-white.

I think you've hit on the perfect job for Lou. He'd have lots of paper checking to do 'cause it's not easy to figure out.
Would he have given Anthony Quinn a pass?

Anthony won't show up. There's lots of other folk to challenge Lou, though...

I just pictured Beck mustering just enough strength to lift his chalk board above his head and use it to smash a window and escape from his Fox News studio and run off into the distance to the sounds of "The Star Spangled Banner" being played on a tomtom. Not sure why.

Great, now I'm picturing all of the Fox pundi(n)ts and "news" people commandeering a sailboat while convincing the police that they're respected journalists.

Is that before or after Beck yells "I'm not just talking about my wife, I'm talking about my LIFE, I can't seem to get that through to you. I'm not just talking about one person, I'm talking about everybody. I'm talking about form. I'm talking about content. I'm talking about interrelationships. I'm talking about God, the devil, Hell, Heaven. Do you understand... FINALLY?"?

It all happens simultaneously, and continuously. Now, back away from the blackboard, I'm gonna be using up all of the oxygen here.

Don't Beck's remarks seem more than a tad ungrateful here? I mean, few even heard of Beck before CNN HLN gave him a national platform. How many other untalented, Mormon, recovering alcoholic, college dropouts get that kind of shot?
