Right, Dr Weiner. Bringing up a baby all by oneself is just such a cushy lifestyle.

      Navy babes FTW!

What did the Navy ever do to Michael Savage, BTW?

From personal experience, I don't think that raising children is deemed a passport to an easy life, just the opposite.

Most people would probably think that they had made a wise decision to join the military. Where else can you find a job that provides full coverage insurance and paid continuing education? The G.I. Bill alone saves the young ladies tens of thousands of dollars in college loan repayments.

The current melt down of our financial system has robbed many american families of monies that were set aside for their childrens education. It has also had a negative impact on the availability of college scholarship programs which rely on endowments and contributions.

Maybe if Health Insurance was more affordable the young ladies might choose to start their families after getting out of the military.

This depression has been great news for military recruiters, that's for sure.

I bet there are more than a few military personell that are thankfull for the young lady that stood up to the shooter at Ft. Hood recently. Some of them owe their very lifes to her bravery!!

Ironically, joining the military in America makes the person eligible for the same kinds of benefits, and from the same source, as those that accrue to the entire population of a socialist government. But unfortunately for too many Americans, 50 years of Cold War rhetoric has so poisoned their minds against the idea of the government helping out in any way that they now seem willing to cut off their own noses just to spite socialism. Very unfortunate state of affairs.

Women make up only about 20% of any service branch, if 20% of them are pregnant at any one time, that isn't much of any one service. Going into the military is NEVER an easy life! They may not send you to a war zone when you are pregnant, but they will expect you to show up for duty. And they may send a single mother to a war zone, even if her child is a tiny baby. And if she is deployed to a foreign country and her dependant, spouse or child, and the dependant misbehaves, they send them back to the States, to the home of record with no care or concern about who will take care of them! I have seen that happen with my own eyes. Being in the service is always a sacrifice.

Well, goodness, Mikey -- if simply getting pregnant was as much of a "guaranteed passport to an easy life" as you claim, why take the additional step of joining the Navy? It's not like joining the Navy is a necessary step to getting pregnant . . .

Why is it that these pantloads who've never worn a uniform know why others do?

Hey now, being a Marine that is sooooo false. It's not just the Navy, its the Air Force too! Sheesh.

But in all seriousness, there aren't that many pregnant service members running around on ships and bases. There are probably more than there should be, but I think the problem is worse with underage girls in school than in the military. I guess by Savage's logic they should join the military to make thier lives easier. Yeah. That will work.

No explanation necessary - not because I actually can figure out why you say this but only because there is no way in hell I would be able to follow your logic as you try to explain what you mean by that. Im glad you saved us all some time by not broaching the subject. I can say such things as well but most people chose to speak of reality or perhaps to exercise logic but we won;t hold you to such timeless standards of public discussion. We all know you are above that.

Such hate on women. What does his wife think about his sexist statements? How about if his son has a daughter will he be sexist on her? How about any other female family member of his? SMH!
