She is doing a fine job persecuting herself. The media is just using it as filler between stories about people and things that actually matter.

Sarah Palin and Carrie Prejean have a lot in common. Both of them are self-proclaimed Conservative, Christian women who are being persecuted by a cruel and biased, liberal media. The problem is both of these women are incredibley self-absorbed, spoiled, snotty, whiny frauds who are overly ambitious and underskilled. I admit it, both of these women just make me what to slap the smug, sanctimonious smirks right off their faces. It isn't a matter of their looks. I think Sarah is very attractive for a middle-aged mother of five. Carrie Prejean, with her bleached (extension?) hair, pneumatic bosom, fake tan, overpainted eyes, and snotty demeanor, isn't attractive to me. She is just a cloned bimbo, as far as I am concerned. They are being attacked because they insist on flaunting their stupidity and narcissism in front of us with the expectation that we will find their vapid drivel as charming and enthralling as they do. If they don't want to be mocked, go home, look in the mirror and stay there!

Persecuting Palin...? Gimme a freakin' break.

Palin is getting exactly what she wants...attention. Without the media she would have gone back to being an obscure backwoods local politician.

But now she's a big CELEBRITY! And she's RICH! And she goes shopping in New York City! And she goes on OPRAH!

Sarah is secretly saying "Ooooh, Baby, persecute me some more."

A talk show, huh? What, sort of like Maury Povitch, but where they ask teenaged girls if they've been palintized*?

*knocked up in HS by a hockey player.

She could do an entire season with just members of her family as guests.

Yes, apparently, one of her big beefs against her McCain handlers was that they wouldn't let all of her family on stage.

The media isn't persecuting Palin they are simply telling it like it is. There is a reason that Dick Cheney is not on the cover of GQ and there is also a justification for Palin not being Vice President. It's not persecution, it's reality.

When are people going to get sick of this cry-baby tour that Palin is taking, supported by Fox News? She complains about being persecuted, and yet here she is, begging for a spotlight anywhere she goes. The best thing for her to do if she wants to run for POTUS is to lay low and let things blow over. She can't do that, because everything she touches turns to crap. When will she ever learn?

Too true. An aggrieved lot, aren't they?

There's actually a word in the dictionary that sums them up nicely: Reactionary *An extreme conservative, an opponent of progress or liberalism.

Must be why they love throwing around that liberal boogeyman canard at every turn.
