Of course, because that would make it Clinton's fault.

According to many on the right, Bill Clinton is to blame for the attacks of September 11, 2001. George Bush was only in office for 8+ months, so the blame has to fall on Clinton.

And it goes without saying, that the bombing of the World Trade Center on February 26, 1993, was also Clinton's fault since he was inaugurated a little more than a month prior to the bombing.

        Wingut logic is very simple.

Yes, Rush. If we only had Gitmo then, Bush would have taken his PDBs seriously.

You know Rushie is right one time on this statement. Even though Bin Laden did know everybody that participated in the 1993 attacks. He did know KSM, and KSM was apart of Al Queda. I can see Rushie's true reason for saying what he said. He's trying to place blame on Clinton and suggesting that democrats failed! Here is a little history for you Rushie on the founder of Al Queda:

Bin Laden has consistently dwelt on the need for violent jihad to right what he believes are injustices against Muslims perpetrated by the United States and sometimes by other non-Muslim states, the need to eliminate the state of Israel, and the necessity of forcing the US to withdraw from the Middle East. He has also called on Americans to "reject the immoral acts of fornication, homosexuality, intoxicants, gambling, and usury," in an October 2002 letter.

Probably the most infamous part of Bin Laden's ideology is that civilians, including women and children, are legitimate targets of jihad. Bin Laden is antisemitic, and has delivered warnings against alleged Jewish conspiracies: "These Jews are masters of usury and leaders in treachery. They will leave you nothing, either in this world or the next." Shia Muslims have been listed along with "Heretics,... America and Israel," as the four principal "enemies of Islam" at ideology classes of bin Laden's Al-Qaeda organization.

Osama Bin Laden is a kook, but does not mean to create fear abour all Muslims, and Clinton did not fail. Should we say GHWB failed because his family was involved with the Bin Laden family.
So Rushie it goes deeper then what you tell your listeners!

""These Jews are masters of usury and leaders in treachery."

Maybe this is why we can't get interest rate caps. If you're against usury you're siding with bin Laden.

      Sooo . . .

Capturing the perpetrators {without preemptively invading another country},

trying them in a court of law {instead of waterboarding them},

and convicting and sentencing them to prison {where they STILL are},

      . . . leads to more attacks.

I guess, by that logic, the "trial" and execution of Saddam Hussein contributed to the insurgency in Iraq -- right, Limpballs??

Rush and the Fox crowd is quick to criticize but not give any answers...

What is the alternative to trial? What would you do Rush?

What did Bush do? oh that's right... nothing.

KSM was capture in 2003 confessed in 2007 and here we are 2 years later bringing him to trial.

And it's laughable that I heard one of the Fox and Friends say that taking him to trial is dangerous because the case may get thrown out because he was tortured...sigh
