I want... no I DARE anyone to defend Karl Rove's quote...
We ought not be in a rush to go to military tribunals. We ought to be in a rush, to get these people and lock'em up and keep them locked up.
If you plan on defending him, then I would ask that you please show how this is any way shape or form, an American principle.

Its the exact opposite - implicitly implies that we just ignore due process. They are not American citizens but on american soil they have the rights of anyone else in america who is arrested and they cannot be incarcerated indefinitely without a trial. This is everything our country holds dear we are talking about ignoring.

I guess Rove knows NOTHING about the 14th amendment.

karl rove's callous attempt at fear mongering is mind numbing. what the hell is this egg head talking about? he actually has the audacity to claim that these terrorists being tried in court are going to scare the bejeezus out of the jurors and judge because they would love to kill them. you're kidding me, right? of course they would... just like all the millions of murderers and killers that have been put on trial would want to do the same thing. what, like they dont want to kill the judge that is sentencing them and the jurors that are deciding their fate? please, man... why does fox still employ this fear monger?

karl rove is a complete joke... the guy is the master of scaring people half to death over things that havent happened and probably wont happen. but whatever he can do to get his foot in the door and scare people a little bit more, he will do it at any cost. the far-left lawyers crap i can stand because its child's play and talking points, but everything else he said is despicable and i dont know how anybody can sleep at night knowing they utter these pathetic assumptions and conspiracy theories.

What the F did Bush do with them for the last 8 years? Nothing. NOTHING, Karl. These disgusting creatures should pay for what they did. Instead, for the last 8 years, they've been sitting at Guantanamo Bay. Now that the Obama administration wants justice served, they're being attacked!?!? They are seeking the death penatly, for pete's sake! You'd think the cons would LOVE that. But...NOOOOOO! Obama is President, so it's bad.

As another commentor here said, they don't believe in justice, they believe in revenge.
