        Sadly, I think if this issue gets played out before the general populace, they're not going to understand that this is not simply disallowing federal funding for abortion but going far beyond. Essentially, any woman making less than $80k/yr will have to pay for any abortion out of pocket, even if they've paid MORE than the actual cost of the abortion to their insurance plan out of pocket already. Unless of course they had planned on this abortion ahead of time and decided not to accept the federal subsidies or to enroll in separate abortion insurance (yes, assuming either of these cases is rather offensive, Mr. Stupak).
