I like how Beck delivers the news of our impending cultural apocalypse and the imminent destruction of all we hold dear with a big, smarmy smirk on his face.

Yeah, he does it because he doesn't have to worry about the financial burden that others have to bear that he fears mongers into listening to him.

Whilst Bill-O pretends not to know what liposuction is called so Beck can chime in with an overly quick-to-respond, "Liposuction!" Fox News isn't just a 24/7 political operation, it's a well-rehearsed political operation. And I'm supposed to believe Hannity's rally footage mix up was a mistake?

So does this mean Beck will be on government run health insurance then?

well no wonder Beck and other people are confused. Pelosi is asked at a new conference if she thought it was fair if people who did not buy insurance would go to jail and basically she said it was not fair for people not to have insurance because that forced the bill onto the Taxpayers. and that the bill is fair as written.
so please explain it to me: Pelosi says it is fair to jail people who thoughtlessly do not get insurance and Beck says that you go to jail if you do not get insurance.
It sounds like they are both saying the same thing.

There is a serious disconnect between Beck and reality, and it is sad. Apparently, Beck has been listening to Hannity and Bachmann too much. Remember, all the bad things about the healthcare bill are on pg 92. On pg 92 it talks about how everyone will go to jail, lose their jobs, become prostitutes, and generally destroy the fabric of society. Did I mention that pg 92 is very very long.

I thought the prison sentence thing was true. Wouldn't that be a GOOD thing? (I'm getting pretty good at double-think)

That's what happens when you get away with lying; you continue to lie. Beck should be in a clinic for habitual liars.

Thomas Jefferson pointed that out a long time ago:

        * He who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and third time, till at length it becomes habitual; he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the world's believing him. This falsehood of tongue leads to that of the heart, and in time depraves all its good dispositions.

Id like to see beck become a conscientious observer to insurance coverage - he has had two major surgeries now. Id love to see him pay for a third out of pocket like 20 percent of our country now does.

everybody knows there are two certainties in life - death and taxes.

And yes, if you never pay your taxes I guess agencies hold the legal right to put you in jail or at least you'll have to go to court to defend you cause.

What I want to know is why did Nanci Pelosi let the reporter get away with making that claim? You would think she should know, it's her baby... did she even read it?

No, no, no, Eddie, you don't go to jail for not having health insurance, you go to jail if you fail to pay the fine (tax) for not having insurance. Surely, with all your fine efforts on the chalkboard, you can plainly see there are a couple of degrees of separation here.

So in other words, Glenn Beck is correct.

After all, Sarah Palin wrote a book with Lynn Vincent, who once co-wrote a book with someone (Robert S. McCain) who once said something that DailyKos considered to be "white supremacist" in nature(Media Matters has echoed this view). Therefore DailyKos says that "Sarah Palin's ghostwriter is a white supremacist".

If you do not choose health insurance as approved by the Federal government, you are required to pay a tax. If you do not pay that tax you go to jail. Therefore Glenn Beck says you go to jail if you don't choose a Federally-approved insurance plan.

        Tell me who is wrong?

But people should go to jail if they do not purchase the government health care or pay the fine or if they resist in any way! They should be locked up and FORCED onto the government health care and re-educated as to the meaning of the term "Common Good". They should be forced by any means necessary to assimilate. People, (especially right-wingers) don't always know what's best for themselves. If they refuse then lock them up and throw away the key, or send them to work camps until they die of some disease, who cares? The important thing is that we get social justice for those who have suffered for too long under this evil capitalist, system, right?
