The reason he dyes his hair is because a few years ago he divorced his first wife, married a woman younger than him by @ 30+ years, and started a new family, all thanks to little blue pills. I'm surprised his current wife can stand his touch. It's got to be the money and supposed celebrity because he's a has been and has been a has been for a very long time. Heck, I remember him being a grown behind man when I was in my early teen years.

I know the delta force, delta force 2, and son of delta force were kinda campy so I enjoyed them, but really, that was his best work - choreographed fight scenes with pre-determined outcomes, something that doesn't really prepare him for politics (unless he's running as a reichwhiner!)

"I can't run for office because there's nothing but cotton candy between my ears, and I'm really just a more famous version of Joe the Plumber."

That would be a bit more accurate.

I dont think its bird of a feather. I just think hannity is so insecure in his own show, he cant possibly argue with dissenting opinions to his own because he always ends up looking like a train wreck. Ever see his debate with Michael Moore? Hannity fell apart. He really is not a smart guy at all. He dropped out of both NYU and Adelphi. I mean he was not smart enough to get a college degree at two universities. That exemplifies how intelligent hannity is. So of course, he can't really hold his own in a debate.

Is that debate anywhere on the internet? I'd love to see that! Hannity can't even have a debate with someone joeblow who calls in on his radio show, so of course he couldn't debate someone with any knowledge of issues. He's a big putz.

I feel like a nigihtmare and i CANT wake up - thats how i felt under bush.

I have to agree with Norris - I also would probably want to hurt people in congress. iF i ever run into inhofe i would probably end up pulling his chair out from under him when he tried to sit down or something. Same with Michelle Bachmann - I would probably just lock her in the bathroom one day or key her car. If I ever heard a senator say they follow the bible when they write laws I would probably laugh them off the stage or start throwing rotten tomatoes at their face. I think I would put a stick-it card on Stupek's back saying fraud or C street gang.

I would lecture vitter on what the word hypocracy means and chastise him whenever he says the word values. I could never run because I hate them all so much! I think Id punch leiberman in the jaw and call him the senator from big insurance every time i referred to him. I would ask landreiu to resign or become a republican already. I would ask nelson and lincoln why they hate their state sooo much that they refuse to listen to their own voters. I would be a menace!

Inhofe is such an idiot. Unfortunately I'm from Oklahoma and have to live with the shame of him and Coburn. At least Coburn has promised to not run again. Inhofe just keeps adding to the misconception that all Okie's are uneducated. Sadly, the fact that he continues to get elected probably doesn't help with that fallacy.

What is with inhofe? How does he get voted in by such a big margin every single election? Do the dems there suck that much? I mean politicians should not really rally against science any more. That is so the 1600s. You have to actively search to find stuff that is not supporting global warming, He must know that not too many if any real scientist share his belief. Does that even matter to him? He seems certifiably insane to me. What is with the talk about writing and voting on laws based on what jesus said or the bible. Dont the voters care? Dont they want him to vote with the majority or is the majority always pro'Jesus? And the hillarious thing is absolutely none of his positions would align well with jesus. He doesnt want to curb pollution, he is wholly intolerant of others in the bills he votes for and the only thing he contributed was making english the national language - what a man of the people?!

He also seems to share a lot of glen beckisms when he rails on specific people like the EPA and Carl Browner and the Big Lie theory put forth in Mein Kumpf - all things ive associated with beck and all things inhofe has railed on as well. The best was his vote not to repeal the ability to torture and his defense of the atrocities at abu ghraib. That wasnt even a partisan vote - only 8 other senators voted that way. i would LOVE to hear inhofe explain how jesus was a big proponent of torture or drilling in wildlife reserves or how he didnt want to lower interest rates for college students. These are not bible positions but more like directly aligning votes against the bible decisions.

And I dont think ive ever before heard a senator refute the constitution and science in the same sentence when he said that the second biggest hoax ever played on Americans is global warming and the first is separation of church and state of course. He also seems to have no concept of what homosexuality is in the slightest. I really hope this isnt the best oklahoma can do. They have to find someone to beat this incompetent boob. Keeping him in office this long with his kind of margins of victory is doing very little to help give off the vibe that okalahoma is an educated state. I think inhofe and bachmann are two of the dumbest gov't officials to ever be elected to a federal position in american history.

I also never knew until recently that inhofe was the one that ran on the "god, guns and gay" platform. I remember hearing that when I was in middle school or something and I thought it was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. i USED to call the GOP the god guns and gay party instead of my new nickname - the party of no. I cant believe someone actually ran on that platform and got voted into office. Is that really how people in oklahoma want their reps to think?

To me, that is like the worst possible platform a politician can ever have. It takes into account three of potentially hundreds of issues. Simplifies it into black and white and then, throws down opinion on each. If there were a list of hundred political platforms i would likely rank that the worst of any of them. Man, i feel bad for you and for oklahoma but they are doing it to themselves.

You hit the nail on the head! I think most in Oklahoma (and it's one of the reddest states in the country) vote Republican only on the issue of abortion, religion and guns. Sad, isn't it? We do tend to elect democratic governors and some legislatures. Bible belt, hunting belt, need I say more. We are number 47 in teacher pay yet in the top ten in training teachers. We spend less per student but rank in the top ten in early childhood. I think these stats show the fact we have democratic governors and a republican ran legislature. I can't figure Inhofe out either. I've been hearing strange rumors of the C Street gang and their beliefs that they are above others bc God placed them in powerful positions. I'm hoping that the religious base in OK will educate themselves on Inhofe's true beliefs and see that he is distorting biblical views. That is the only thing that will get him out of office.

Why does Fox News attempt to give even a shred of credibility to people like Chuck Norris? They shouldn't bring on Chuck Norris, Jon Voight, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, or any random celebrity or pundit that can manage to get a book deal to discuss an issue of importance that they know nothing about.

This isn't just a complaint about Fox News, but they are the most guilty of it. Cable networks have taken this fascination of assigning "expert" status to someone whom has no business talking about what they are supposedly knowledgeable in. It harms political discourse since now everyone is an expert and anyone can say something crazy and an uninformed listener on a complicated issue like climate change or health care will go "well, they say he knows what's up, otherwise he wouldn't be on my TV, so I believe him."

Looking at Fox News, they are easily the worst of all in this regard.

If I want to know the effects of long-term unemployment benefits on the unemployment (and job-seeking) rate I want to see James Poterba or Lawrence Katz on my screen - not Michelle Malkin.

If I want to know about the science of global warming I want to see Gavin Schmidt or Richard Alley - not John Bolton. Furthermore, if I want to know the economic impacts on various programs like Cap-And-Trade and the impact on the economy for doing nothing or various other options I want to see Martin Weitzman or Robert O. Mendelsohn on my screen - not Bill Kristol

If I want to know about holding terrorists on trial in civilian criminal courts on U.S. soil, I want to see a tag team of Akhil Reed Amar and Gary Berntsen - not a tag team of Ann Coulter and Rudy Giuliani.

If I want to know the economic implications of the current health care reform bill, I want to see Kenneth Arrow (he basically founded "health care economics" with his 1960s paper - why aren't we talking to him?), Joseph Stiglitz, or Angus Deaton - not Chuck Norris.

Attention Media: All Opinions Are Not Created Equal.

Then again, this is probably more intentional on Fox News since experts might contradict their talking points.

Maybe if they were actually reasonably intelligent it would make for decent watching but Norris is a joke. He has more conspiracy theories than beck. That is just not even possible. Whats with his new world order crap? Do they actually think this? These people should be committed if they actually think what they say. When beck went to get his appendix removed, I was actually thinking he might finally be getting some psychiatric help and that was all just a cover but he came back too quickly for that to be likely.

I met Chuck Norris about twenty years ago. He was very polite and gracious. Back then, he was totally unlike the hypocritical fraud that he is today. He was always respected for his standing in the martial arts community, but even though his conservative views were well known, he had a "live and let live" attitude, which was just fine by me. Obviously, in recent years, he has thrown all that away just to squawk on the right wing soapbox in an attempt to garner a few crumbs of publicity, because his career is no more.
He makes me laugh when he spouts off with the usual right wing tripe about values. This is coming from a man who fathered his last child while in his late 50's, then said with pride that him and his wife didn't have to take care of this child, that they had a "nanny" take care of him. When the debilities of his age start to catch up to him, if they haven't already, his wife will bail out on him faster than he could throw a jump spinning kick way back in his prime.

You can't really come to that conclusion. As far as you know, jjamele donates thousands of dollars to charity and spends every free hour with terminally ill children. Your post would be pretty lame whether you agree with their politics or not.

I find it interesting that all these examples of charity done before the public eye are thrown out as examples that Chuck Norris is a good man beyond criticism.

I recall the words of Christ, who said:

"Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what the right doeth: that thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:2-4)

I take a couple lessons from those verses. First, Christ himself criticized individuals whose charitable works were well known. Second, the work that is done publicly and before human eyes already has its reward in the praises of men. It does not deserve an extra reward, neither from the Father in heaven nor in the form of immunity from criticism. Third, the best type of charity is the sort done privately, behind closed doors. Christ himself often implored those upon whom he had performed miracles to make no mention of what he had done, at least not until he had revealed who he is. I would imagine that, in accordance with this, a person who does private charity for these reasons should wish that such acts remain as private as possible.

So, as a Christian, I'm really not sure how Chuck Norris's publicized charitable works really shield him from being criticized on vile and un-Christian comments he made elsewhere. Both examples sort of strike me as being two sides of the same coin.

Why are you saying it like that? Why are you putting so much emphasis on the "H"?

Isn't that a threat to all democrats. Sure wish I had the money I'd sue the pants off him and Fox for allowing him to say that.

Despite a couple other comments I've made, my opinion is that, while a stupid thing to say, Norris didn't really intend any real threat by his comment.

He was most likely speaking tongue-in-cheek and just playing up his ultra-tough guy image and coupling that with the ultra-conservatism everyone knows he espouses.

I think that he said was obnoxious (much like his entire shtick), but I think it just has to be taken with a grain of salt... just like everything else about the guy.

This is just another clip from Fox News where I find myself shaking my head and wondering "Really guys? Was this really worth an interview, let alone a segment?"

Got to give him a little credit, though.
Ron Paul is a brilliant and sensible man.
