Seems to me there was an awful lot of crawling over President Obama and his books. If not by the news, then by the Conservatives. If the woman wants to be President, she deserves to be scrutinized, if she can't take it, get out. She made such a big deal over how unfairly she was being treated, there should be some fact checking to see if she was being treated differently.

I don't mind a negative remark as much as I mind a single thumbs down. If you don't like what I have to say, tell me why.

Heaven forbid the media should fact check anything.

Ditto. You gotta love how wingnuts like Palin and Jerome Corsi think their screeds of lies, rumors, smears, and innuendo, should be accepted at face value . . .

If Palin doesn't want to be fact checked she should do more TV interviews. Apparently you can say pretty much anything you want there without a follow-up question.

Seriously, what the heck. Tons of books are fact checked. What about that "million little pieces" debacle or any of the Dan Brown novels?!

"Wahh, wahhh, we can't just lie and get away with it."

There should be no fear of fact checks if you're actually making true statements.

she has a 75% approval rating among repbublicans?
yet only a 30% approal rating in this country

So assuming that 75% is true might be the GOP front runner but it doesnt matter cause 60% of the country is democrat so their is no way she could win the election even if she got every GOP vote (and 25% dont like her)

Plus I'm amused that less then 2 seconds after saying its ok to fact-check people on the campaign trail this guy defends Palin from the unfair legions of fact checkers that desended on her when she was on the campagin trail. Its not the double talk that suprises me really, its the speed they can do it at and still have the audience think they have made a good point and not notice it.

You go girl, you're the GIFT that keep on giving!!

YEAH, YEAH, I want more unscripted interviews . .

I wanna hear her plan for creating NEW JOBS [after it's translated into English of course]

75% of Republicans like her, but only about 20% of the population is identifying as Republican. That's only abour 15% of voters; if she has a 30%, the other 15% is from independents and a few sick Democrats!

It's not rare at all for a news organization to fact check a non current politicians' book. That's exactly what Fox news does the second someone like a Michael Moore puts out a book so they oughta stop whining about others doing exactly what they would do in the same situation.

Well listen. There is a tremendous amount of animosity and in some minds kind of bizarre derision of Sarah Palin...Some folks call it Palin Derision Syndrome.

      ...

"There is a level of scrutiny and derision that Sarah Palin talks about - whether it's from the press or from the left. ...[Palin] suggests in the Oprah interview that a lot of them were put by the Obama administration and by Democrats" - Campaign Carl Cameron
Yes. A lot of the derision came from the Obama Administration and by Democrats - not sure the Obama Administration cared all that much, but whatever. What is interesting is that you fail to mention anything about your own itty-bitty contribution to all of that, Carl. Got amnesia? Is that a side-effect of PDS? Hmmm...

It should also be noted that Carl Cameron's report about Sarah Palin shortly after the election was widely circulated and is usually cited for many complaints about Sarah Palin at the time. How ironic that Carl neglects to mention any of that. Sure, we can just blame Obama and the Democrats. Lol.

You have to understand that fact-checking is unheard of at Fox News. They just can't grasp the concept.

It's official the way to beat these guys is to check if they are lying. They seem to hat people finding out about their lies. It means they have to do actual work.

"She has 75 percent approval ratings from Republicans"

Last numbers I saw on how many people identify as Republicans, was 20 percent. So Palin is supported by 15 percent of Americans. You know I don't ever think a candidate lost a presidential election 85% to 15%.

I hate to quote George Bush, but "Bring 'em on"

Now if the next question in that poll is if she is qualified to be President, I am sure the numbers would drop.
