Where is MY CUT of the 12 BILLION in SHRINK WRAPPED COLD CASH that Bush sent over to IRAQ to buy off war lords. That disappeared without a peep. Hmmmm Neilio? Odd, not a freaking peep out of you over that story. Nor a peep out of you when it was found that the contractors in Iraq wasted 23 billion. No accounting, no trace. Again. Not a peep from you.

Wow. Some patriot you turned out to be.

Why not just use it to pay back the debt incurred by the Afghan and Iraq wars? That would be a crazy idea. But then again, Cavuto probably wouldn't go for that because he is greedy.

Honestly, I would love to see some of that money go to paying our debt back. Maybe by 2011, we can place more emphasis on a balanced budget and begin to build up the dollar in value. That way we won't just be shifting the debt down the generations like we have the past 8 yrs.

That's a good point. I thought the big issue (since, oh, January) was paying down the national debt. I have to admit, though, I was a bit taken in by the ol' Cavuto charisma for a minute there.

I honestly believe that if McCain had won in 08, the same basic bailout would have happened for GM regardless. So this is just hot air blown up the collective skirt.

Notice how there was no mention of the fact that this proves that this bailout actually worked as intended?

Well, the bailout seems to be making some difference, however it is unclear as to whether GM (or Chrysler) will be able to pay back all the funds borrowed. In that case, I would not mind seeing some shares of GM stock come the taxpayers way for the "investment". Dollars, forget those, they will all go in the direction of China and other nations that have lent us the money to fund these projects.

The nice thing about the US owing money to other nations and the dollar falling in value, is that we can repay them much more cheaply. The only problem is, for the falling dollar to work in our favor, China needs to go off its fixed currency and allow its currency to float. That would definitely make our debt seem much more manageable.

That was so childish. Grow up, Cavuto.

Wait a minute. If GM pays back all the money then what will happen to the Socialism and gov. takeover of the country??

Are you saying the gov. will no longer own the Car companies and the banking industry?? NNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!
