This is surely doing the devils work to hurt people in disguise of helping them.

Actually, calling a Senate office isn't a bad thing to do. I will be making some phone calls myself-Snow, Landrieu, Collins, and Leiberman. I got a very nice letter from my Senator after my visit to his office a month ago. You as an individual may not have a lot of influence, but if enough of us contact them with the same message, they do listen. I visited a number of Senators' offices and I always told them that I wasn't a constituent, but I let them know I supported their positions. I also contribute to general party campaign funds (small donations) but every bit matters. Most members of Congress want to serve and they want to help.

Unfortunately some of them forget just who it is that they are supposed to be serving and helping...

They listen to the people with money or the people who reach out to them. If you never make contact, they can't listen.

At the beginning of this segment, did I hear Beck say he was going to give beatdowns on SEIU.

Then, at the end says it's SEIU giving the beatdowns.

What is he talking about? (rhetorical question don't answer)

It is a legimate (although rhetorical) question. Open your eyes. Politicians always make bargains and trade offs and they always will.
