Depends on how you define 'resigned'. Check the Baier report about Janet Napolitano, who left my current homestate to take job as SecDHS.
Of course, we did have Evan Mecham (impeached) and J. Fife Symington (resigned after indictment... went on to Chef School instead of jail).

In other words he wants Palin to lie.

Well she certainly has plenty of practice...

Of course the Democratic governor of New York resigned and didn't go to jail. He had a sex affair but didn't use state funds and abondon his post. Then we have a governor of South Carolina who had a sex affair and did abondon his post and did USE state funds, but he is still in office, he didn't resign. I forgot. He is a republican and they usually don't hold them accountable for anything they do.

Just another lie. Governor's who reigned and did not go to jail:

        Nelson Rockefeller
        Eliot Spitzer
        Jim McGreavey
        Janet Napolitano
        Kathleen Seibelius
        Bill Clinton

      Feel free to add others.

Plenty of governors have resigned to take ambassadorships and other appointed federal positions over the years.
