You can see both thir noses getting longer when they were waxing eloquent about Sarah 'trash' Palin. All three of these are pathetic.

Now wait a minute - didn't Rush just give Palin a big mushy endorsement of her book saying it was one of the most substantive policy books he has ever read.

Are they saying Oprah went easy on her or Oprah was hiding the real Drill Here Drill Now Sarah Palin.

      I am totally confused!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about Oprah, but personally, I would have asked her the about the age of the Earth and the age of the Universe.

Silly women, Sarah doesn't do policy statements and if Oprah had asked, then she would have complained about her being mean to her!

"What would you have done about the 8% unemployment problem?"

To garner the first interview, I'm sure there were a laundry list of questions Oprah agreed not to bring up about [cough] 'her policies' . .

Oprah is SMART, I'm sure we can all agree . .

She's smart enough to know if you let this uninformed, unqualified woman go unscripted, well, we all know what happens and it's embarrassing, really!!

BTW, I noticed she borrowed from Cheney, Mr. Obama is 'dithering' HMMMM, WOW, whadda vocabulary . .

I didn't see the interview, only a few snippets. Yes, Oprah is smart enough to not let her go unscripted, but then, by now, so is Sarah. I am sure the negotiations were fast and furious to set this thing up. Yes, Sarah borrows a lot from Dick Cheney. She was quoting Unitary Executive Theory stuff during the debate and Biden called her on it. That Unitary Executive stuff is the ultimate Revenge of Richard Nixon! We should all feel very glad that Cheney is gone from office. Sarah isn't smart enough to come up with this stuff on her own, she would be more of Dubya President than another Nixon.

isn't it kind of ironic how palin always complained about too much tough policy questions being asked in her interviews (with gibson and couric)? yet, this bush-apologist claims there weren't enough policy questions in an interview with an entertainment show host. do you really want to go there, dana?

They complain when the questions are "too hard" and when the questions are "too soft." Big Mama Bear should hit Fox so the questions will be "just right."

      Yes,
The book is selling like hotcakes.
It cost more that $4.95 for a cord of wood and winters here. With this tough ecomomy we got from the previous administration those 5 chapters of "Substantive Policy" according to Rush, burn better that wood but it will stink up the enviornment more. Bye the Bye if she were asked about the ecomomy she would probaly put that bridge to nowhere on ebay like she did the jet that Alaska is still paying for.

Van Susteren, Perino criticize lack of policy questions in released excerpts from Palin's Oprah interview

Perino, you must remember the last time hard questions was asked to Palin???? Charlie Gibson or Katie Couric. Oprah had to be soft on her. Lord knows we do not need another deer in the headlights look! That is why her book tour is only in places where questions will be soft and make her look outstanding, which we all know she is not.

Also Palin is not running for office nor does she hold any office. She's on there promoting her book. Why should she be asked policy questions any more than Tom Cruise or James Frey?
