AMC is carrying all 17 complete, digitally remastered, original episodes on line. Number Six never looked so good! Be Seeing You.

They're also showing a new version starring Jesus (James Caviezel) and Gandalf (Ian McKellen)?

Are we finally going to find out who wins in a fight between Jesus and Gandalf?

              Be afraid. Be very afraid.

That really should just replace "Fair & Balanced".

That would depend on which Jesus shows up.

The Jesus who wept, forgave, turned the other cheek and drove the money changers from the temple, or the teabagger's Jesus who'd be angry, irrational and packing heat.

On the subject of the new Prisoner, not so much. I'm trying to like it, and follow it, but not so much. I miss the old one. I really need to buy it on DVD. I haven't seen more than a snippet or two since the local PBS station ran it in 1978!

Whew.. thanks for no spoilers. I'm DVRing the whole miniseries and plan to watch it in a loooong (okay, I can skip commercials, so it's not as long as having to 'bathroom break' like Live) viewing.

I think - hang on - okay, I thought it was on YouTube, but only the first two episodes (done as 10 min. clips) are available on a quick look

Why do you hate America, Glenn? Why do you want to undermine the electoral process because you didn't get your way? Why should government employees be afraid of you and your teabagging lot? But, yes, we should be afraid, because you don't like how things are going you intend on winding up your audience to shock or undermine the system. Those nice, polite people that Michele Bachmann invited to the Capitol asked for pictures with Conservatives, but they went into Nancy's Office screamed, yelled, and threw paper on the floor. They went to Anthony Weiner office and yelled and called him names. People came to both the 9/12 rally and Bachmann's rally with posters that talked about coming back armed next time. Check out the Sipsey Street Irregulars, the 3% people. They are just waiting to for the excuse of someone trying to disarm them in order to attack! There are some Americans who have been convinced that they are so bad off they would be better going into an armed rebellion, so they can save the Constitution. They completely ignore the fact that America has spoken, through the elections and they lost.

Guru Glenn has convinced his followers, (ZOMBIES), that "helping", "Volunteering", Public Service, Community Organizing, Workers Rights, Unity in Diversity, Social Justice...are ALL EVIL. When you live in a VERY small, ultra-conservative town, where people are absolutely convinced that Beck "Would NEVER Lie" to them, where they honestly feel that "he IS the new and improved Walter Cronkite"; God Help you if you're disabled and need help. When you get death threats because of a blog you write and naively think it doesn't matter that your location is on the blog...you call the local PD and are told "If you weren't a "N"-Loving Liberal, you wouldn't be getting death threats!",...you realize that we SHOULD Be Afraid, "VERY AFRAID". <sigh>

I have to say that if Glenn Beck actually believes that there are enough crack-pots, fearful children in adult bodies, right-wing lunatics, and all-around ignorant people who make up enough of a voting block to keep the Democrats from gaining even more power in the Congress and at the state level...

That my friends, is what is called pure lunacy!

Glenn, the average Jane and Joe know that it is people like you who are a bigger problem in this nation than the SEIU and ACORN.

So please Glenn, keep up the good work of destroying any hope of the Republican/Conservative parties from having much power in our government... at least for the next generation!

Exactly. The majority of the nation doesn't even know who in the h#ll Glenn Beck is, and my guess would be that if they heard him they would shake their heads in amazement at how crazy he is.

The reality is that he appeals to a little over 1% of this countries population. That's enough to make him successful on cable news and talk radio. It isn't close to being enough to make him successful outside of those two areas. For example, if Glenn Beck had a show on NBC @ 8:00 p.m. on a weekday and had only 2.5 million viewers,he would be cut in no time. Simple fact.

He is #1 on the NY times bestseller list. Which means he sells a few million copies of his book. Of course those numbers include bulk buying by conservative groups. Despite this, only a relatively few care for the man. He is a sad and lonely man who loves himself more than anything in the world. The question is: How far is he willing to go in order for him to continue with the "hey everybody....look at me!!!" schtick?

My prediction is that his greatest strength (his narcissism) will also be his undoing one day. The reality: Glenn Beck is going to have a serious Karmic debt at the end of this journey.

"Uh, this Saturday, I'm going to be at the Villages..." auditioning for the part of 'idiot'.

You know, Glenn, if you're going to make up statistics, here's a little song you might enjoy. You should also be aware the number, the real number, is closer to 57% support. I know you're factually challenged, and unhappy about reality's liberal bias, Glenn, but, c'mon, man. And, if you think anyone actually fears you, you're quite mistaken. You're silly, you're pitiful, but you're not scary. And, the tiny minority that follows you is mostly dangerous to themselves, especially if there are sharp objects about.

I wonder what Poll he was referring to when he quoted 35%? The latest Poll numbers I reviewed yesterday indicated 86% of the population now favor of a fully funded government run public insurance option. Not only that, the small business community is unanimous with a public option.

Yesterday he compared the government to a child rapist or a union thug (take your pick)- today he is touting his latest devine revelation (#1825 available through the John Birch Society), complete with a light coating of Fairy Dust and personally signed by the Self Annoited Prophet himself.

The real question that comes to mind is just how much more the LDS religion will bear before he forces them to excommunicate him from the church and distance themselves from his controversial ideology?

I predict the day is near.

If Beck tried this foolishness with any other President then the first black President of the United States he would not have his job for long.
What Beck is doing is un-American, un-patriotic AND TREASONOUS. This hateful man is out, along with Sean Klannity and Fox News, to bring down Obama and his administration.
Beck would never openly dare try to bring down a white President, NEVER, nor would he try picking off those in his administration. Even though Barack Obama is the President of the United States he is more symbolic than authentic, unfortunately (Obama is powerless to do anything about it).
This is why so many white people attack and criticize Obama relentlessly. They feel they do not have to answer for anything they say or do to Obama, and for the most part they don't. For example: when Glen Beck stupidly called the President a racist it didn't really cost him anything, I mean, he still have his job, right?
How many black national TV personalities can call a white President a racist and keep his job and maintain his status in the main-stream of America? Think about it.

My boyfriend often complains about Maddow and Olbermann and how they are but they have 1 hr. of tv a night. I made the observation (which he didn't think I could make a independent observation which in turn caused me to kick him out of the house) that Glenn, Sean and Lou (well used to) have 4 hrs a day to spew their hate. No wonder they are so paranoid and delusional and so are their followers. I explained that Rachel and Keith use FACTS and not FICTION and that they aren't conspiracy THEORISTS.

Yeah I should fear a labor union that works to protect the average workers' rights and an organization that empowers lower and middle class folks. Sure Glennie, I'll take the word of a multi-millionare who works for a company that shills for the GOP. Just for grins and giggles I recently read the 2008 Texas OP's party platform and these people are insane. I'm an independant but now I see how dangerous these people are I'll do whatever it takes to keep these people out of power. Just a few highlights: they want the right to put up the 10 comandments anywhere they want without any restrictions, they want to get rid of the minimum wage, they want to bring back sodomy laws (not to get too personal but some of us married folks will be doing some time) and my favorite part was the foreign relations section in which we need to support Israel because those nations that favor Israel will be favored by God and will punish nations that oppose them. I am not making this up, check it out.Insane.
