The truth is that 9-11 families are divided on the decision to hold the KSM trial in NYC, but since Gretchen only speaks with right wingers, she assumes that 9-11 families are wholly opposed to it, which, as a simple matter of fact, they are not. Speaking for Fox News, they would prefer that the current Administration dithers on justice like the last one did.

I know she can't speak for the 9/11 families that Glenn Beck hates or the one who Bill the coward verbally abused on his show.

Isn't it obvious that we need to kick Obama, Biden, Clinton, Reid, and Pelosi out of Washington, and dismantle the judicial system, so that the 9/11 families can run the country unimpeded? Because, as we all know, the tragedy of 9/11 made them all oracles.

Just like a contract to host a pseudo-news show does.

It is all over the map Sks1...

I live about 60 miles from Thompson, IL (where these oh so dangerous super villains may very well end up) and the right-wing Republican Congressman who supposedly represents all of us here in Northern Illinois has put his mug on face furthering the fear about how dangerous it would be for America to follow her Constitution.

These right-wing thugs would be a hoot, if not for the danger they collectively represent to this nation!

The last 8 years of Bush/Cheney and the idea that Palin is so loved by them are proof to that.

It is pretty shameful and/or stupid. I've been commuting from Jersey City to Lower Manhattan every day for the past decade. Fear was a big part of my PATH train (NJ/NY subway) commute following 9/11. Honestly, I think most of us simply ran out of fear. That, of course, is just my opinion.

It's not about fear. It's about justice for WAR CRIMINALS, not common thieves or even murderers. WAKE UP!

In this case, it's all about discovery and evidence sensitive to national security.

You go ahead and bury your head in the sand. Doesn't this all sound very familiar? It was precisely this attitude before 9/11 that made us vulnerable to the attack. And read your history books. WE HAVE NEVER TRIED AN ENEMY COMBATANT/ WAR CRIMINAL in a civilian court before. Nor should we start now. It's not about instilling fear. It's about justice. A military tribunal is the only fitting venue for WAR CRIMINALS. What is it about the words WAR CRIMINAL you don't understand? Don't you know the difference between a common criminal and a WAR CRIMINAL????

Nice Gretchen, way to interrupt your guest before letting him answer the question because you didn't like the answer... I forget, is this the News portion of Fox or the Opinion side?

There are no legitimate reasons not to have this trial because what are the alternatives? There are no legal ones... is Gretchen advocating that we becum a rogue nation? Should we act in the same fashion as the "Axis of Evil"?

We are a nation of laws... as much as Fox and the Right refuse to admit and according to our laws, KSM will be tried in NYC.

What concerns me the most is the how sure of herself she is. She knows she has gone out seeking information to support her position and despite how questionable it is she puts out there like the gospel truth and give a little, "so there," shake of the head.

I hope these people don't all start arguing in Ann Coulter fashion. You have to be a little mean to her first to get her in a position to answer questions like a human.

She saw a petition with 100,000 names on it from families who lost loved ones in 9/11? Weren't there only 3,000 deaths that day? That means that each family that lost a loved one that day has on average 33 people in their family and each one of them signed it... I'm going out on a limb here and say that what she saw was just a regular petition and not related to 9/11 family members whatsoever.

Clearly, that petition was put out by Glenn Beck's University of I Can't Remember.

Even if this is the Opinion section of Fox it's really bad opinion when it asks questions of Mathematics. Like someone said above these people are Oracles and apparently gravity doesn't exist in their studio.

no matter what the obama administration had decided in this matter, the right would have criticized them. as we all know, the conservatives are the only ones who can correctly deal with all matters 9/11...except preventing it.

Speaking for others is a sure sign that a person is an egomanac. This means she thinks more of herself than those she is speaking for.

I have lived in Manhattan all of my life. Two of my husband's cousins lost their young wives at the World Trade Center on 9/11. One of them was 7 months pregnant, . They both worked for Cantor Fitzgerald in the North Tower. I have since met many of the 9/11 families. They and all of us who witnessed the attacks, smelled the burning bodies for months afterwards, those whose loved ones paid the ultimate price for the rescue attempts and cleanup, will NEVER be the same.

My husband and I were mortified to find out that the mastermind of this heinous attack, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, and four other terrorists would be tried in Manhattan as civilians. The only way justice can be served is to try these animals as the War Criminals they are, by military tribunal. How dare they be allowed the same rights and privileges as an American citizen!! They are NOT petty criminals. They are NOT even murderers.THIS WAS CLEARLY AN ACT OF WAR. I am warning you they will make a mockery of our legal system and exploit the media circus to the max. Never underestimate them. They will use this to recruit Jihadists for their cause, both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Holder will be putting our great city in even more mortal danger. The cost of security in and around New York City will further bankrupt our manpower and financial resources.

Worst of all, the 9/11 families who crave justice will be sorely disappointed. The CIA and its interrogation techniques (which clearly prevented more attacks) will be put on trial, NOT the War Criminals responsible for the death of thousands of innocents.

We must do everything in our power to prevent this assault on our city, our great country and its citizens. Atty. General Holder and President Obama must be held accountable for this unforgivable act perpetrated on the American people. WE WILL NEVER FORGET.
